Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Generic 6L Digital Air Fryer. This appliance is designed to provide a healthier way to cook your favorite meals by using rapid air technology, significantly reducing the need for oil. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • This appliance has a fully enclosed design with a cool touch handle for safe removal and viewing during food cooking. It also features protection against overheating and automatic power off.

Setup and First Use

Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials from the air fryer.
  2. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
  3. Clean the basket and grill plate thoroughly with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  4. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.

Placement:

  • Place the air fryer on a stable, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space on the back and sides, and 10 cm (4 inches) above the appliance.
  • Do not place anything on top of the air fryer.

Before First Use:

It is recommended to run the air fryer for about 10-15 minutes without food to burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate initial odors. Ensure the room is well-ventilated during this process.

Operating Instructions

General Operation:

  1. Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
  2. Pull the basket out of the air fryer.
  3. Place the ingredients into the basket. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  4. Slide the basket back into the air fryer.
  5. Press the power button to turn on the appliance.
  6. Select a preset cooking program or manually set the temperature and time using the touch controls.
  7. Press the start button to begin cooking.
  8. Some ingredients may require shaking halfway through the cooking time. Pull out the basket by the handle, shake it, and then slide it back in. The air fryer will resume cooking automatically.
  9. When the cooking time has elapsed, the air fryer will automatically turn off. Carefully pull out the basket and empty the contents.

Preset Programs:

The air fryer comes with 8 preset cooking programs for common dishes. Simply select the desired icon on the touch screen, and the air fryer will automatically set the optimal temperature and time. You can adjust these settings manually if needed.

Cooking Tips:

  • Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger ingredients.
  • A larger amount of ingredients only requires a slightly longer preparation time.
  • Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the preparation time optimizes the end result and can help prevent unevenly fried ingredients.
  • For crispy results, add a little oil to fresh potatoes before air frying.
  • You can also use the air fryer to reheat dishes.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Clean the appliance after every use. The basket and grill plate are nonstick and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.

  1. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the outside of the air fryer with a damp cloth.
  3. Clean the basket and grill plate with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak the basket in hot water and soap for about 10 minutes.
  4. The basket and grill plate can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
  5. Clean the inside of the appliance with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
  6. Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food residue.

Troubleshooting
