5. Setup

1. Insert Soldering Tip: Carefully insert the desired soldering tip into the heating element of the soldering iron. Ensure it is fully seated.
2. Connect Power Supply: Connect the PD Charging Cable to the Type-C power supply interface on the soldering iron. Plug the other end into the 100W PD Adapter, and then plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet. The soldering iron requires a stable 100W power source for optimal performance.
3. Place on Stand: Always place the soldering iron on the provided Soldering Iron Stand when not in active use to prevent accidental burns or damage.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

• Power On: Once connected to power, the soldering iron will automatically power on and display the current temperature and settings on the IPS screen.
• Power Off: The device features an automatic power-off function after a period of inactivity (configurable). To manually power off, navigate through the menu options using the Left/Right buttons and select the power off option, then confirm with the OK button.

6.2 Temperature Adjustment

• Use the Left and Right buttons to increase or decrease the target temperature.
• The temperature range is 212°F - 842°F (100°C - 450°C).
• The screen will display the set temperature and the current temperature.

6.3 Using Preset Temperatures

• The HS-02A allows you to save and quickly recall three different temperature presets (CH1, CH2, CH3).
• To set a preset: Adjust to the desired temperature, then navigate to the preset menu and save it to one of the channels.
• To recall a preset: Navigate to the preset menu and select the desired channel (CH1, CH2, or CH3).
