Control Buttons and Ports:

  • TIME Button: Used to enter time setting mode and confirm settings.
  • ALARM Button: Used to enter alarm setting mode and confirm settings.
  • + Button: Used to increase values during setting, or switch between Celsius/Fahrenheit.
  • D/- Button: Used to decrease values during setting, or activate/deactivate snooze.
  • Alarm 1 ON/OFF Switch: Activates or deactivates Alarm 1.
  • Alarm 2 ON/OFF Switch: Activates or deactivates Alarm 2.
  • USB Charger Port (5V=1A): For charging external devices.
  • Projection Lens: Projects time and temperature onto a surface.

Setup

1. Powering the Device

The alarm clock can be powered by either the included USB cable or 2 AAA batteries (not included).

  • USB Power: Connect the USB cable to the DC 5V port on the back of the clock and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The display backlight and projection will remain continuously on.
  • Battery Power: Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock and insert 2 new AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). When powered by batteries, the backlight and projection will light up for 8 seconds after a button press to conserve power.

2. Initial Time and Date Setting

  1. Press and hold the TIME button for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digit will flash.
  2. Use the + or D/- buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press the TIME button again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. The minute digit will flash.
  4. Use the + or D/- buttons to adjust the minute.
  5. Continue pressing the TIME button to cycle through and set the year, month, and day in the same manner.
  6. After setting the day, press TIME again to exit the setting mode.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting 12/24 Hour Format

In normal time display mode, press the TIME button once to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.

2. Setting Temperature Unit (℃/℉)

In normal time display mode, press the + button once to switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉).

3. Setting Alarms

  1. Press and hold the ALARM button for 3 seconds to enter Alarm 1 setting mode. The Alarm 1 hour digit will flash.
  2. Use the + or D/- buttons to adjust the hour for Alarm 1.
  3. Press the ALARM button again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting for Alarm 1.
  4. Use the + or D/- buttons to adjust the minute for Alarm 1.
  5. Press the ALARM button again to enter Alarm 2 setting mode and repeat the steps for Alarm 2.
  6. Press ALARM again to exit alarm setting mode.

4. Activating/Deactivating Alarms

Use the 'ON/OFF 1' and 'ON/OFF 2' switches on the side of the clock to activate or deactivate Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 independently. When an alarm is active, its corresponding icon (1 or 2) will appear on the display.

5. Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the D/- button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after 5 minutes.

6. Projection Function

  • To activate the projection, extend the projection arm from the side of the clock.
  • The projection arm can be rotated nearly 180 degrees to adjust the projection angle on a wall or ceiling.
  • When powered by USB, the projection is continuously on. When powered by batteries, the projection will light up for 8 seconds after a button press.

7. Display Backlight Adjustment

When the clock is powered by the USB cable, the backlight has 4 levels: High, Medium, Low, and Off. Press the D/- button (or the button with the sun/sleep icon, if present) repeatedly to cycle through the brightness levels.

8. USB Charging for Mobile Phones

Connect your mobile phone's USB charging cable to the 'USB Charger 5V=1A' port on the side of the alarm clock to charge your device. Ensure the alarm clock is powered by the USB cable for stable charging.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the clock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: If using battery power, replace both AAA batteries when the display becomes dim or functions become unreliable. Ensure correct polarity.
  • Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim:
    • Check if the USB cable is securely connected or if batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient power.
    • If on battery power, press any button to activate the display for 8 seconds.
  • Projection is unclear or not visible:
    • Ensure the projection arm is extended and pointed at a suitable surface (wall or ceiling).
    • Adjust the distance of the clock from the projection surface.
    • Ensure the room is sufficiently dark for optimal projection visibility.
  • Alarm does not sound:
    • Verify that the corresponding alarm switch (ON/OFF 1 or ON/OFF 2) is in the 'ON' position.
    • Check that the alarm time is set correctly.
  • USB charging not working:
    • Ensure the alarm clock is powered by the USB cable, not just batteries.
    • Check the connection of the charging cable to both the clock and your mobile device.
