4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the machine from its packaging.
2. Remove all protective films and packaging materials.
3. Place the machine on a stable, flat surface, away from water sources and heat.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

1. Wash the water tank, drip tray, and milk frother components with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
2. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

1. Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
2. Fill the tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX level (1.5 L capacity).
3. Replace the water tank securely.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing a Coffee Beverage

1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the machine is powered on and heated.
2. Lift the lever to open the capsule compartment.
3. Insert a Lavazza BLUE capsule into the compartment. Close the lever firmly.
4. Place your cup under the coffee spout.
5. Select your desired beverage from the touch panel (e.g., Espresso (30 ml), Espresso Lungo (45 ml), Caffè Lungo (90 ml)).
6. The machine will automatically dispense the coffee and stop.
7. After brewing, lift the lever to eject the used capsule into the internal container.

5.2 Preparing a Milk-Based Beverage

1. Fill the milk frother jug with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to the desired level indicated on the jug.
2. Place the jug on the machine's milk frother base.
3. Insert a Lavazza BLUE coffee capsule if making a coffee + milk drink (e.g., Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato).
4. Select your desired milk-based beverage from the touch panel (e.g., Cappuccino, Grand Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Hot Milk).
5. The machine will automatically froth the milk and/or dispense coffee, then stop.
6. Remove your cup and enjoy. Clean the milk frother immediately after use.

5.3 Customizing Beverages

The machine offers 2 customizable settings. To program a custom volume:

1. Insert a capsule and place a cup.
2. Press and hold the desired customizable beverage button until the desired volume is reached.
3. Release the button. The new volume is now saved for that button.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

• Used Capsule Container: Empty the used capsule container when the alert light indicates it is full (capacity: 12 capsules). Rinse with water.
• Drip Tray: Empty and rinse the drip tray regularly.
• Water Tank: Rinse the water tank daily and refill with fresh water.
• Milk Frother: Immediately after each use, disassemble and wash all milk frother components with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly to prevent milk residue buildup.

6.2 Descaling
