5.1 Unlocking Methods

You can unlock your door using any of the following methods:

  • Fingerprint: Place your registered fingerprint on the sensor.

  • IC Card: Tap your registered IC card on the designated area.

5.3 Auto-Lock and Privacy Features

5.4 Voice Control (Optional)

For voice control functionality with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, the Foxgard Gateway (sold separately) is required. This gateway enables integration with smart home ecosystems for convenient voice commands.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your Foxgard Fingerprint Door Lock.

6.1 Battery Information

  • The lock is powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included).
  • Avoid using rechargeable batteries, as they may not provide consistent power.
  • The lock will provide low-battery alerts when the power is running low. Replace batteries promptly.

6.2 Emergency Backup

  • Mechanical Keys: Always keep the provided mechanical backup keys accessible outside the locked area for emergency entry.
  • Emergency Charging: If batteries die completely, the lock can be temporarily powered via a power bank (not included) connected to the emergency charging port for unlocking. This is for temporary power only, not for charging the lock's internal battery.

7. Troubleshooting
