1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Information

Please observe the following safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the product:

• Maximum Weight Limit: Do not exceed 450 lbs (204 kg).

4. Assembly Instructions

Estimated assembly time: 20-30 minutes. All necessary hardware and tools are included.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five silent wheels into the holes at the end of each leg of the metal star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Install Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the star base. Cover the gas lift with the plastic cover.
3. Attach Seat Plate to Seat Cushion: Align the seat plate mechanism with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with bolts using the provided Allen wrench.
4. Attach Armrests to Seat Cushion: Secure the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated bolts. Do not overtighten initially.
5. Attach Backrest to Seat Cushion and Armrests: Align the backrest with the mounting points on the seat cushion and armrests. Secure with bolts. Once all bolts are in place for the backrest and armrests, tighten them securely.
6. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the seat plate aligns with the top of the gas lift.

Note: Extra bolts and connectors are provided. Refer to the included diagram for specific bolt sizes and locations.

5. Operating Instructions

Your FAMSINGO office chair features several adjustable components designed for ergonomic comfort.

5.1. Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, lift the lever located under the right side of the seat. While seated, lift the lever to lower the seat. To raise the seat, lift the lever while standing or with minimal weight on the seat. Release the lever to lock the height.

5.2. Tilt Function and Tension Adjustment

• Tilt Lock/Unlock: Pull the lever (usually the same one for height adjustment, or a separate one on the left) outwards to unlock the tilt function, allowing the backrest to recline between 90° and 120°. Push the lever inwards to lock the backrest in an upright position.
• Tilt Tension: Rotate the round knob located under the front of the seat to adjust the tension of the tilt mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

5.3. Armrest Adjustment

The armrests are 2D adjustable, allowing for vertical movement. Press the button on the side of each armrest and slide it up or down to your desired height. Release the button to lock the armrest in place. The adjustment range is approximately 3.94 inches (10 cm).

5.4. Lumbar Support Adjustment

The lumbar support can be adjusted vertically to provide optimal support for your lower back. Gently push the lumbar support pad up or down along the backrest to find the most comfortable position.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your office chair.

• Cleaning:
  • For the mesh backrest and fabric seat, use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Wipe down plastic and metal parts with a damp cloth.
  • Do not saturate the fabric or foam.
• Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary.
• Casters: Clean casters regularly to remove hair and debris that may impede movement.
• Gas Lift: Do not attempt to disassemble the gas lift cylinder.
