1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the LamQee 20" Drum Chandelier. This manual provides essential information for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your new lighting fixture. Please read these instructions thoroughly before beginning installation and retain them for future reference.

This modern farmhouse style chandelier features an integrated LED light source, a beige linen shade, and a matte black metal frame, designed for indoor use in various rooms such as dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and entryways.

2. Important Safety Information

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, always follow these safety precautions:

• WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installation or servicing.
• This fixture is designed for 120 Volts AC power supply only.
• All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances, or the National Electric Code (NEC). If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections, consult a qualified electrician.
• This product is for indoor use only. Do not install in wet or damp locations.
• Do not attempt to modify the fixture. Any modifications may void the warranty and create a safety hazard.
• Handle the integrated LED light source with care. Do not touch the LED chips directly.
• Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the fixture (approximately 11.93 pounds).

3. Package Contents

Carefully unpack your fixture and ensure all parts are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or broken, contact LamQee customer service immediately.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Pre-Installation Checklist

Before you begin, ensure you have the following tools and materials:

• Phillips head screwdriver
• Wire strippers
• Electrical tape
• Ladder (if necessary)
• Safety glasses

5.2 Installation Steps

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box and turn off the power to the light fixture location. Verify the power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Mounting: Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box in the ceiling. Ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Adjust Hanging Height: The chandelier comes with adjustable downrods (2.9in, 5.9in, 11.8in). Select the appropriate combination of rods to achieve your desired hanging height. The adjustable length ranges from a minimum of 9.2" to a maximum of 50.5".

4. Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the house wires according to standard electrical codes (black to black, white to white, ground to ground). Secure connections with wire nuts and electrical tape.
5. Mount Canopy: Carefully push the canopy up to the ceiling, aligning the holes with the mounting screws on the bracket. Secure the canopy with the provided nuts or screws.
6. Attach Diffuser: The acrylic diffuser is designed for easy installation. Gently press the diffuser into place at the bottom of the linen shade until it clicks securely. This '3-second assembly' design eliminates the need for screws or clips.

7. Restore Power: Once installation is complete, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

This fixture is adaptable to various ceiling types, including flat, vaulted, and sloped ceilings.

6. Operating Instructions

The LamQee Drum Chandelier is designed for simple operation via a standard wall switch (push button control method). It features an integrated LED light source that provides a warm white light (3000K).

• Turning On/Off: Flip the wall switch connected to the fixture to turn the light on or off.
• Dimming Functionality: This fixture is dimmable. To utilize the dimming feature, you will need to install a compatible LED dimmer switch (adapter dimmer) in your wall. The dimmer switch is not included with the fixture. Ensure the dimmer is rated for LED lighting.

7. Maintenance

Your LamQee Drum Chandelier is designed for low maintenance. The integrated LED light source has an average lifespan of 50,000 hours, eliminating the need for bulb replacements.

• Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure the power is turned off. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the metal frame and the linen shade. For the acrylic diffuser, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish or materials.
• Shade Care: The natural linen shade is designed to resist dents and maintain its shape due to its thickened fabric and acrylic inner liner. Avoid harsh scrubbing or excessive moisture when cleaning the fabric.
