1. Introduction

The KEEPLUCK ST-551 coffee machine offers excellent compatibility, adapting to all your coffee needs. 2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup and First Use

Follow these steps for initial setup and your first coffee brew:

1. Step 1: Fill Water Tank. Add pure water to the water tank. Ensure the water level is between the MIN and MAX marks.
2. Step 2: Power On. Plug the machine into a suitable power outlet and press the power button (G) to start automatic heating. The indicator lights will flash during heating and become steady when ready.
3. Step 3: Insert Coffee. Open the handle (A) and insert the appropriate capsule adapter (B) for your chosen coffee type (Nespresso Original, Dolce Gusto, or ground coffee). Place your capsule or ground coffee into the adapter.
4. Step 4: Brew Coffee. Place your coffee cup under the coffee outlet. Press either the small cup button (E) or the large cup button (F) to begin brewing.

5. Operating Instructions

Brewing Coffee

Once the machine is ready (indicator lights are steady), you can brew your coffee:

• For Nespresso Original Capsules: Use the Nespresso adapter.
• For Dolce Gusto Capsules: Use the Dolce Gusto adapter.
• For Ground Coffee: Use the ground coffee adapter and a suitable amount of ground coffee.

After inserting the coffee, place your cup and press the desired cup button (small or large) to start brewing. The machine will automatically stop when the pre-set volume is dispensed.

Customizing Cup Volume

You can adjust the default volume for both small and large cups:

• Small Cup Volume Adjustment:
  1. Place your coffee cup under the coffee outlet.
  2. While the machine is operating, press and hold the small cup button (E).
  3. Release the button once the desired coffee volume is reached (Minimum: 15 seconds, Maximum: 90 seconds). The new volume is now saved.
• Large Cup Volume Adjustment:
  1. Place your coffee cup under the coffee outlet.
  2. While the machine is operating, press and hold the large cup button (F).
  3. Release the button once the desired coffee volume is reached (Minimum: 15 seconds, Maximum: 90 seconds). The new volume is now saved.

• This machine is not compatible with ESE pods, Vertuo capsules, French Roast capsules, or Tassimo pods.
• Avoid using plastic-packaged coffee capsules as much as possible.
• Do not use dented or damaged coffee capsules.
• When using ground coffee, ensure the grind size is appropriate. Do not use coffee grounds that are too coarse or too fine, as this can affect brewing quality and machine performance.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your coffee machine.

• General Cleaning: The machine should be thoroughly cleaned monthly or after every 200 cups of coffee, or when you notice a decrease in coffee liquid quantity and a slower flow.
• Removable Parts: The removable drip tray (D) and water tank (I) are easy to clean and help reduce bacterial growth. Wash them with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
• Descaling: Periodically descale the machine to prevent mineral buildup. Refer to descaling instructions for coffee machines, typically involving a descaling solution and running it through the machine.
• Dishwasher Safety: The machine and its components are not dishwasher safe.

8. Troubleshooting

Pressure Release Function

If the machine is under high pressure and the lever does not open:

1. Remove the water tank (I).
2. Press the button located underneath the machine to release the pressure.
3. If the lever still cannot be opened after following these steps, try pressing the button multiple times until it opens.

Tip: A small amount of liquid may be released after pressure is released. This is normal.

Common Issues

• Coffee is not hot enough: Ensure the machine has fully preheated before brewing. Descaling may also improve heating efficiency.
• Machine vibrates excessively: Ensure the machine is placed on a stable, flat surface. Check that all removable parts (water tank, drip tray, capsule adapter) are correctly seated.
• Water leaks from the machine: Check that the water tank is properly inserted and not overfilled. Ensure the drip tray is correctly positioned. If leaks persist, contact customer support.
• Coffee flow is slow or inconsistent: This often indicates a need for cleaning or descaling. Ensure the capsule or ground coffee adapter is not clogged.
