5. Operating Instructions

The chiller features an intuitive button-control mode for temperature adjustment.

5.1 Setting the Desired Temperature

  1. Press the "Set" button to enter temperature setting mode.
  2. Use the "Up" (▲) or "Down" (▼) buttons to adjust the desired water temperature. The display will show the target temperature.
  3. Press "Set" again or wait a few seconds for the setting to be saved. The chiller will then work to achieve and maintain this temperature.

5.2 Advanced Settings (F1 and F2)

To access advanced settings, press and hold both the "Up" (▲) and "Down" (▼) buttons simultaneously until the system menu appears.

  • F1: Startup Temperature Difference
This setting determines the temperature difference before the chiller reactivates. The default F1 setting is 2 degrees. The adjustable range is typically 1-15 degrees. Adjust this value using the "Up" or "Down" buttons. Press "Set" to confirm.
  • F2: Temperature Correction
This setting allows for calibration of the temperature sensor. A range of -10 to 10 will be displayed. Adjust this value using the "Up" or "Down" buttons to match an external thermometer reading if necessary. Press "Set" to confirm.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your chiller.

  • Clean Air Inlet Screen: The chiller features a removable air inlet screen. Periodically clean this screen to ensure proper ventilation and maintain cooling efficiency. Disconnect power before cleaning.
  • Check Hoses and Connections: Regularly inspect hoses and connections for leaks or blockages. Ensure all connections are secure.
  • Clean Evaporator (Internal): For advanced maintenance, if cooling performance degrades significantly, the internal evaporator may need cleaning. This should ideally be performed by a qualified technician.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

7. Troubleshooting

Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions.

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Chiller not turning onNo power, power cord loose, over-current shutdown activated.Check power connection. Ensure outlet is functional. If over-current shutdown, disconnect, wait a few minutes, and reconnect.
Insufficient coolingBlocked air vents, dirty air inlet screen, incorrect temperature setting, chiller undersized for tank volume, high ambient temperature.Ensure clear airflow around the unit. Clean the air inlet screen. Verify temperature setting. Consider if the tank volume exceeds the chiller's capacity. Reduce room temperature if possible.
Water not flowingPump not working, hoses kinked or blocked, pump not submerged.Check pump power and operation. Inspect hoses for kinks or debris. Ensure pump is fully submerged in water.
Unusual noiseUnit not level, fan obstruction, internal component issue.Ensure the chiller is on a level surface. Check for any external obstructions near the fans. If noise persists, contact support.
Temperature fluctuation after power outageUnit did not resume operation. The chiller has power-failure temperature memory and should resume at the set temperature. If not, check power and settings.
