Key Components and Functions:
- LCD Display: Shows caller ID, call status, menu options, and other relevant information.
- Context-Sensitive Buttons: Four buttons located directly below the display, their function changes based on the current menu or call state.
- Pause/Hold Button (||): Puts an active call on hold.
- Forward/Transfer Button (→): Transfers an active call to another extension or number.
- Conference Button (👥): Initiates a conference call.
- Menu Button (≡): Accesses the phone's main menu for settings and features.
- Message Button (✉): Accesses voicemail or message notifications.
- Numeric Keypad (0-9, *, #): For dialing numbers and entering text.

Setup
Connecting the Phone
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the handset port on the side or back of the phone base.
- Connect to Network: Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the LAN port on the back of the phone and the other end into your network switch or router.
- Connect Power (if not PoE): If your network does not provide Power over Ethernet (PoE), connect the power adapter to the power port on the phone and then plug it into an electrical outlet.
- Initial Boot-up: The phone will power on automatically and begin its boot-up sequence. The LCD display will show progress. Once complete, it will display the idle screen, indicating it is ready for use.
Operating Instructions
Making a Call
- Pick up the handset, press the Speakerphone button, or press the Headset button.
- Dial the desired phone number using the numeric keypad.
- The call will connect automatically after dialing, or you may need to press a context-sensitive 'Dial' button if available on the display.
Answering a Call
- When the phone rings, pick up the handset, press the Speakerphone button, or press the Headset button.
- Alternatively, press the context-sensitive 'Answer' button on the display.
Adjusting Volume
During an active call, press the + or - buttons to adjust the volume of the handset, speakerphone, or headset. When the phone is idle, these buttons adjust the ringer volume.
Mute Function
During a call, press the Mute button (microphone icon with a slash) to mute your microphone. Press it again to unmute.
Using Speakerphone
Press the Speakerphone button (speaker icon) to activate or deactivate the speakerphone function during a call or to initiate a call without lifting the handset.
Navigating Menus
Use the Menu button to access the phone's settings and features. Use the Navigation Keys (up, down, left, right arrows) to scroll through options. Press OK to select an option and the Back/Return button to go back.
Maintenance
- Clean the phone's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Regularly check cable connections to ensure they are secure.
- Keep the display clean and free from dust for optimal visibility.
