Setup and Assembly

1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and level surface.
2. Carefully place the Total Crushing Blade Assembly onto the drive gear inside the 72oz pitcher. The blades are sharp; handle with care.
3. Add your desired ingredients to the pitcher. Do not exceed the MAX LIQUID fill line.
4. Place the lid onto the pitcher and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the handle is aligned with the pour spout.
5. Place the assembled pitcher onto the motor base, aligning the pitcher's handle with the right side of the motor base. Press down firmly until it locks into place.
6. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The Ninja Professional Blender BL685 features both Auto-iQ programs and manual speed settings for versatile blending.

Using Auto-iQ Programs

Auto-iQ programs are intelligent, pre-set programs that combine unique pulsing, blending, and pausing patterns to deliver consistent results. Simply select the desired program, and the blender will do the rest.

• SMOOTHIE: Ideal for blending fresh or frozen fruits and liquids into smooth beverages.
• PULSE: Provides short bursts of power for chopping, dicing, or controlled processing.
• Other programs may be available depending on the specific model variant. Refer to the control panel for available options.

Using Manual Settings

For custom control, use the manual speed settings:

• LOW: For lighter mixtures, sauces, and purees.
• HIGH: For tougher ingredients, ice crushing, and achieving smooth consistencies.

Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.

Using the 24oz Single-Serve Cups

1. Add ingredients to the 24oz single-serve cup. Do not exceed the MAX FILL line.
2. Screw the Pro Extractor Blades Assembly onto the cup until it is tightly sealed.
3. Invert the cup and place it onto the motor base, twisting clockwise until it locks into place.
4. Select an Auto-iQ program or a manual speed setting.
5. Once blending is complete, twist the cup counter-clockwise to unlock and lift it from the base.
6. Remove the blade assembly and attach a spout lid for on-the-go convenience.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning

• Motor Base: Unplug the motor base before cleaning. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
• Pitcher, Lids, and Blade Assemblies: All removable parts are dishwasher-safe (top rack only). Alternatively, wash by hand in warm, soapy water. Use caution when handling blade assemblies as blades are sharp.
• For thorough cleaning, fill the pitcher with warm water and a drop of dish soap, then run on a LOW setting for a few seconds. Rinse thoroughly.

Storage
