2. Safety Information

- Nozzles: Select the appropriate quick-connect nozzle (15, 25, 40, 65 degrees, or Low Pressure chemical nozzle) and insert it into the end of the spray wand. Pull back the collar, insert the nozzle, and release the collar to lock it in place. Tug on the nozzle to ensure it is secure.

3.4 Engine Preparation

- Engine Oil: Fill the engine crankcase with the recommended type and amount of oil. Check the oil level before each use.
- Fuel: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not overfill.

Connect a garden hose (minimum 5/8 inch diameter) from your water source to the pump's water inlet. Ensure the garden hose is free of kinks and has a steady water flow. Turn on the water supply completely before starting the engine.

4.1 Pre-Start Checks
- Check engine oil and fuel levels.

4.2 Starting the Engine

- Nozzle Selection: The unit includes 15°, 25°, 40°, 65° (soap) nozzles. The 15° nozzle provides a concentrated, powerful stream for tough stains. The 40° nozzle offers a wider, gentler spray for general cleaning.
- Operation: Hold the spray gun firmly with both hands. Point the nozzle at the cleaning surface, keeping a safe distance. Squeeze the trigger to begin spraying. Release the trigger to stop the flow.
- Testing: Always test the spray pattern and pressure on an inconspicuous area before cleaning the main surface.
4.4 Detergent Application
To apply detergent, use the Low Pressure chemical nozzle (often black or a wide-angle white nozzle). Ensure the detergent siphon tube is placed into a container of pressure washer safe detergent. The pressure washer will automatically draw detergent when the low-pressure nozzle is in use.
4.5 Shutting Down
- If using detergent, remove the siphon tube from the detergent and run clean water through the system for a few minutes to flush out any remaining detergent.
- Turn off the engine.
- Turn off the water supply.
- Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
