Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum.
1. Emptying the Dustbin
It is recommended to empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle, especially if you have pets or clean frequently. To empty:
- Press the release button to remove the dustbin from the robot.
- Open the dustbin lid and discard collected debris into a trash can.
- Clean the filter by gently tapping it to remove dust or using a cleaning brush.
- Rinse the dustbin with water if necessary (ensure it is completely dry before reinserting).
2. Refilling the Water Tank
For mopping functions, ensure the water tank is filled with clean water. Do not use cleaning solutions that are not approved for robot vacuums, as they may clog the system.
3. Cleaning Brushes and Sensors
- Main Brush: Periodically remove the main brush and clean any tangled hair or debris using the provided cleaning tool.
- Side Brushes: Check side brushes for wear and tear. Replace them if they are bent or damaged. Clean any hair or debris wrapped around them.
