1. Important Safety Information

4. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify all parts are present according to the components list.
  2. Position the Fryer: Place the fryer on a firm, level, non-combustible surface outdoors, ensuring adequate clearance from combustible materials (minimum 10 feet). The sturdy iron leg frame and rubber anti-slip pads provide stability.

  4. Connect Propane Tank:
    • Ensure the propane tank valve is closed.
    • Connect the adjustable regulator hose to the propane tank valve. Hand-tighten firmly.
    • Connect the other end of the hose to the fryer's gas inlet.
    • Perform a leak test: Apply a soapy water solution to all connections. Open the propane tank valve slowly. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the valve immediately and re-tighten connections. Repeat until no bubbles are present.

  6. Add Cooking Oil: Pour cooking oil into the fryer tank. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (17 quarts).

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Lighting the Burner:
    • Ensure the oil drain valve is closed.
    • Open the propane tank valve slowly.
    • Use the integrated match holder to light the burner. Insert a lit match or lighter into the burner opening.
    • Slowly turn the regulator knob to the "ON" position. The burner should ignite.
    • Adjust the flame using the regulator knob to achieve the desired heat.

  3. Preheating Oil: Allow the oil to preheat to the desired frying temperature. Monitor the temperature using the built-in thermometer on the front of the fryer.

  5. Frying Food:
    • Ensure food is dry before placing it in the baskets to prevent oil splattering.
    • Place food into the stainless steel frying baskets. Do not overload the baskets.
    • Slowly lower the baskets into the hot oil.
    • Fry until food reaches desired doneness.
    • Use the hang-to-drain design to hook the baskets onto the fryer's edge, allowing excess oil to drip back into the tank.

  7. Turning Off the Fryer:
    • Turn the regulator knob to the "OFF" position.
    • Close the propane tank valve completely.
    • Allow the fryer and oil to cool completely before cleaning or storage.

6. Maintenance

  1. Oil Draining:
    • Ensure the oil has cooled to a safe temperature (below 100°F / 38°C).
    • Place a suitable container under the oil drain valve.
    • Open the oil drain valve to allow the oil to flow out.
    • Close the valve once all oil is drained.
    • Dispose of used cooking oil responsibly according to local regulations.

  3. Cleaning the Fryer:
