3. Safety Information

Your Fsitego Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box is equipped with advanced safety features to ensure the well-being of your pet. Please read and understand the following:

• Dual Sensors: The unit features infrared and gravity sensors that detect the presence of a cat inside. The cleaning cycle will immediately stop if a cat is detected during operation.
• Anti-Pinch Technology: Designed to prevent any pinching or harm to your cat during the raking process.
• Abnormal Current Detection: The system monitors for unusual electrical currents to ensure safe operation and prevent potential hazards.
• Ensure the litter box is placed on a stable, level surface.

4. Setup

1. Unboxing: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Placement: Place the litter box on a firm, level surface in a suitable location, ensuring it is near a power outlet.
3. Install Waste Bag: Open the waste drawer located at the bottom front of the unit. Line the drawer with one of the provided trash bags, ensuring it is securely fitted. Close the drawer.
4. Add Litter: Pour clumping cat litter (excluding crystal litter) into the main drum. Ensure the litter level is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' lines indicated inside the drum.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the litter box and then into a wall outlet. The unit will perform an initial calibration cycle.
6. App Connection (Optional): Download the "Tuya Smart" App from your device's app store. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4G. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your litter box for smart control and monitoring.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Automatic Operation

The Fsitego Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box is designed to operate automatically. After your cat uses the litter box and exits, the sensors will detect their departure, and after a preset delay, the cleaning cycle will initiate. The internal rake will sift through the litter, separating waste into the bottom waste drawer.

5.2 Manual Control

The control panel on the front of the unit allows for manual operation:

• Clean Button: Press to initiate a cleaning cycle manually.
• Empty Button: Press to fully empty the litter from the drum into the waste drawer.
• Reset Button: Used for calibration or resetting the unit. Refer to the app or specific troubleshooting steps for detailed use.

5.3 Smart App Control

For enhanced control and monitoring, use the "Tuya Smart" App (requires 2.4G Wi-Fi):

• Remote Cleaning: Initiate cleaning cycles from anywhere.
• Usage Monitoring: Track your cat's weight and frequency of use.
• Real-time Alerts: Receive notifications for full waste drawer, low litter, or other operational issues.
• Customizable Settings: Adjust delay times for cleaning cycles, ambient light colors, and brightness.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Waste Drawer Emptying

The waste drawer has a capacity of 13L, supporting up to 15 days of hands-free maintenance for a single cat. When the waste drawer is full, the app will send an alert, and the unit's indicator light will signal. Simply pull out the drawer, tie the waste bag, dispose of it, and replace with a new bag.

6.2 Litter Replacement

Regularly check the litter level and replenish as needed. Ensure the litter is clumping type and avoid crystal litter to prevent operational issues.

6.3 Cleaning the Unit

For thorough cleaning, unplug the unit. Remove the main drum and waste drawer. Clean all surfaces with a mild, pet-safe detergent and a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and plugging in the unit.

7. Troubleshooting

• Unit not powering on: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the unit and a working wall outlet. Check for any visible damage to the cable.
• Cleaning cycle not starting automatically: Verify that the sensors are clean and unobstructed. Ensure the cat has fully exited the litter box area. Check app settings for any delayed start configurations.
• App connectivity issues: Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4G. Ensure the litter box is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Try restarting both the litter box and your router. Re-pair the device with the app if necessary.
• Litter not sifting properly: Check that the litter level is not too high or too low. Ensure you are using a compatible clumping litter type. Clean the sifting mechanism if it appears clogged.
• Unusual noises during operation: Ensure the unit is on a level surface. Check for any foreign objects inside the drum that might be obstructing the mechanism.
