1. Product Overview

The ABIWAZY 14-in-1 USB-C Docking Station expands a single USB-C/Thunderbolt port on your laptop into 14 versatile ports, enabling enhanced connectivity and multi-display capabilities. This docking station is designed to streamline your workspace and improve productivity.

Key Features:

• Display Outputs: 2 x 4K HDMI (HDMI 1 up to 4K@60Hz, HDMI 2 up to 4K@30Hz), 1 x DisplayPort (up to 4K@30Hz).
• Data Transfer: 2 x USB-A 3.0 (up to 5Gbps), 2 x USB-C Data Transfer (up to 5Gbps), 2 x USB 2.0 (for keyboard/mouse).
• Network: 1 x Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Mbps).

2. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your ABIWAZY 14-in-1 USB-C Docking Station:

1. Verify Host Device Compatibility: Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) for video output and Power Delivery for charging. Not all USB-C ports support these functions.
2. Connect to Host Laptop: Plug the integrated USB-C cable from the docking station into a compatible USB-C/Thunderbolt port on your laptop.
3. Connect Power Adapter (Optional but Recommended): For stable operation and laptop charging, connect your laptop's original USB-C power adapter (up to 100W input) to the USB-C PD port on the docking station. The docking station can deliver up to 87W to your laptop. Note: Wall charger and cable are not included.

4. Connect External Displays: Connect your monitors to the HDMI and/or DisplayPort outputs on the docking station using appropriate cables.
5. Connect Peripherals: Plug in your USB devices (keyboard, mouse, external hard drives, USB flash drives), Ethernet cable, SD/Micro SD cards, and audio devices to the corresponding ports on the docking station.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Display Configuration

The docking station supports various display modes for Windows and macOS operating systems.

Windows Operating System:

Windows supports both Extended Mode and Mirror Mode across multiple displays.

• Single Display: HDMI 1 up to 4K@60Hz, DP/HDMI 2 up to 4K@30Hz.
• Dual Displays: Max resolution up to 4K@30Hz + 1080P@60Hz (when source is DP1.4).
• Triple Displays: Max resolution will be 1080P@60Hz for all three displays.

macOS Operating System:

macOS only supports Single Stream Transport (SST) mode, meaning all external displays will mirror each other (AAA, ABB). Extended Mode is not supported for multiple distinct external displays.

• Single Display: HDMI 1 up to 4K@60Hz, DP/HDMI 2 up to 4K@30Hz.
• Multiple Displays: All connected external displays will show the same content.

3.2. Data Transfer

The docking station provides various ports for high-speed data transfer:

• USB 3.0 Ports (2 x USB-A, 2 x USB-C): Transfer files at speeds up to 5Gbps. Ideal for external hard drives, SSDs, and USB flash drives.
• USB 2.0 Ports (2 x USB-A): Designed for connecting peripherals like keyboards, mice, or other devices where high data speed is not critical, ensuring no lag.
• SD/Micro SD Card Readers: Supports simultaneous reading and writing for both SD and Micro SD cards, with transfer speeds up to 104MB/s.

3.3. Network Connection

Connect an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit Ethernet port for a stable and fast wired network connection, supporting 10/100/1000BASE-T LAN networks. This provides a reliable alternative to Wi-Fi, especially in areas with unstable wireless signals.

3.4. Audio Connection

The 3.5mm Mic/Audio jack allows you to connect wired headsets or speakers for audio input and output, providing a private listening experience or enabling voice communication.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your docking station, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Keep the device in a clean, dry environment, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
• Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Ensure proper ventilation around the docking station to prevent overheating.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your docking station, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• No Display Output:
  • Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
  • Check all cable connections (USB-C to laptop, HDMI/DP to monitors).
  • Verify monitor input settings are correct.
  • Try connecting one monitor at a time to isolate the issue.
  • For macOS, remember that only SST (mirror) mode is supported for multiple external displays.
• Laptop Not Charging:
  • Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports Power Delivery.
  • Confirm your power adapter is connected to the docking station's PD port and is sufficient (up to 100W input recommended).
  • Check if the power adapter and cable are functioning correctly.
• USB Devices Not Recognized or Slow:
  • Ensure the docking station is properly connected to the laptop.
  • Try connecting the USB device directly to the laptop to confirm functionality.
  • Avoid connecting more than one HDD/SSD simultaneously to the data transfer ports.
  • For high-bandwidth devices, use the USB 3.0 or USB-C data ports.
• No Ethernet Connection:
  • Check the Ethernet cable connection to both the docking station and your router/modem.
  • Verify network settings on your laptop.
  • Ensure your network is active and functioning.
