This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Earbay Wireless Headset. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Setup

Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. The headset offers two charging methods:

  1. Dedicated Base Charging: Place the headset onto the charging base. Ensure the charging contacts align. The indicator light on the base will show charging status.
  2. Type-C Cable Charging: Connect the provided Type-C USB cable directly to the headset's charging port and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).

A full charge provides up to 45 hours of talk time.

Connecting the Headset

The headset supports two connection methods: Bluetooth and USB Dongle.

1. Bluetooth Connection

To connect via Bluetooth:

  1. Ensure the headset is charged and powered on.
  2. Activate Bluetooth on your device (PC, laptop, mobile phone, tablet).
  3. Search for "BT-88" in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
  4. Select "BT-88" to pair. The headset will indicate a successful connection.

The headset uses advanced Bluetooth 5.3 technology for a stable connection up to 49ft (15m).

2. USB Dongle Connection (Plug and Play)

For computers without Bluetooth or for a direct, driver-free connection:

  1. Insert the provided USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. The system will automatically recognize the dongle and connect to the headset. No additional software or drivers are required.
  3. Ensure the headset is powered on.

Operating Instructions

Wearing the Headset

The headset is designed for comfort during long periods of use. The headband is adjustable, and the ear cushions are made of soft, breathable memory foam. The microphone boom can rotate 270 degrees, allowing it to be worn on either the left or right side.

Call Management and Audio Control

Voice Assistant Activation

For hands-free control, press and hold the Multi-Function Button (MFB) on the headset for 3 seconds to activate your device's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.). This allows you to make calls, send messages, get directions, and more without touching your phone.

Compatibility

The Earbay Wireless Headset is compatible with a wide range of communication platforms and devices, including Skype, Zoom, Teams, and more. It works with computers, PCs, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and VoIP systems.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your headset, follow these maintenance guidelines:
