1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing HUTAKUZE Permanent Outdoor Lights. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your 100FT RGB LED outdoor lighting system. Designed for year-round outdoor use, these lights feature IP67 waterproofing, 48 scene modes, music synchronization, and convenient control via a mobile application and remote.

2. Safety Information

• Ensure the power supply is disconnected before installation or maintenance.
• Only use the provided power adapter.
• Keep the control box dry and sheltered to ensure optimal long-term performance and safety.
• Do not attempt to modify or repair the lights yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.
• Ensure all connections are securely tightened to prevent loose contacts and potential hazards.
• When using adhesive mounting, ensure the surface is clean and completely dry before application.

4. Product Features

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Pre-Installation Check

Before permanent installation, connect all light segments, the control box, and the power adapter. Plug into an outlet and turn on the lights to ensure all components are functioning correctly. Manually adjust the LED quantity in the Smart Life app for precise control.

5.2 Connecting Components

1. Align the notches on the power adapter and control box, then press them together and twist the cap tightly to secure the connection.
2. Connect the control box to the first light string by matching the plugs and twisting the cap firmly to avoid any loose contact.
3. Link the 50ft light segments by connecting the built-in plugs and twisting the caps to lock them securely. (50ft models skip this step).
4. Plug the power adapter into an outlet and turn on the lights to check if everything is working properly. Make sure all connectors are fully tightened if the lights don't turn on.

5.3 Mounting on Wall

The lights can be mounted using either the strong 3M adhesive backing or the provided screws for added stability.

1. Mount the lights 2-4 inches away from the wall.
2. Wipe the surface clean before sticking.
3. Peel off the 3M backing on the light strip.
4. Press the strip firmly onto the surface for at least 5 seconds.
5. Secure each light point with screws for permanent installation.
6. Tightly screw on the end cap of the last section.

Note: The 3M adhesive is suitable for smooth surfaces like painted wood, metal, marble, and cement boards. It is not recommended for painted or rough walls. Press for 30 seconds and allow 24 hours for full curing.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Remote Control

The included remote control allows for quick adjustments to your lights:

• On/Off: Power the lights on or off.
• Auto Mode: Cycles through various pre-programmed lighting effects.
• Mode Switching: Change between different lighting modes.
• Speed Adjustment: Control the speed of dynamic lighting effects.
• Brightness Adjustment: Increase or decrease light intensity.
• RGB Single Color: Select specific Red, Green, or Blue colors.
• Warm White/Cool White: Switch between different white light temperatures.
• Timer Setting: Set timers for 1h, 2h, 3h, or 4h.
• Music Mode: Activates music synchronization.
• Child Lock: Locks the remote to prevent accidental changes.

6.2 App Control (Surplife APP)

Download the Surplife APP by scanning the QR code in the user manual or searching in your app store. The app offers advanced control features:

• LED Quantity Adjustment: Manually set the LED quantity in the app for precise control and optimal performance.
• Customizable Lighting Effects: Create personalized lighting effects from 16 million colors.
• Scene Selection: Access and customize 48 pre-set scene modes.
• Music Sync: Synchronize lights with music played through your device.
• Scheduling: Set automatic on/off times for convenience.
• Brightness Control: Adjust the brightness level.

7. Maintenance

• Regularly inspect the lights and connections for any signs of damage or wear.
• Clean the light surfaces periodically with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Ensure the control box remains dry and protected from direct exposure to heavy rain or snow.

8. Troubleshooting

• Lights not turning on: Check all power connections, ensure the power adapter is plugged in, and verify the control box is securely connected. Ensure the remote or app is sending the 'On' command.
• Lights not responding to remote/app: Ensure the remote has working batteries. For app control, verify Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the app is connected to the lights.
• Inconsistent lighting effects: Check for loose connections between light segments. Ensure the correct LED quantity is set in the Surplife APP.
• Adhesive not holding: Ensure the surface was clean and dry before application. For rough or painted surfaces, use the screw-mount option for better stability.
