7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Noaheye security camera, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Camera Not Connecting to WiFi:
    • Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz WiFi signal. While the camera supports 5GHz, some initial setups or specific router configurations might prefer 2.4GHz.
    • Verify the WiFi password is entered correctly.
    • Move the camera closer to the WiFi router during setup to ensure a strong signal.
    • Restart your router and the camera, then attempt the connection process again.
  • Poor Video Quality:
    • Check your WiFi signal strength. A weak signal can affect video streaming quality.
    • Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from dirt or smudges.
    • Verify the camera's resolution settings in the EseeCloud app.
  • Motion Detection Not Working/Too Many False Alarms:
    • Adjust the motion detection sensitivity in the app.
    • Set up specific detection zones to exclude areas with frequent, irrelevant movement (e.g., busy public roads).
    • Ensure there are no objects (e.g., tree branches) that might cause false triggers due to wind.
  • Battery Draining Quickly:
    • Frequent motion triggers, especially in high-traffic areas, will consume more battery. Adjust sensitivity or detection zones.
    • Ensure the camera is fully charged.
    • Extreme temperatures can affect battery performance.
  • Two-Way Audio Issues:
    • Check the volume settings on your smartphone and within the EseeCloud app.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's microphone or speaker.
    • Verify your phone's internet connection is stable.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, please contact customer support.
