Setup Instructions
- Power Supply:
Connect the feeder to a power outlet using the provided power adapter. For backup power, install 4 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the main unit. This ensures continuous operation during power outages.

- Assemble the Dispensing Mechanism:
Ensure the slots of the rotor component are aligned with the base. Manually rotate the three-blade rotor until it is securely locked in place and cannot move.
- Attach Food Storage Barrel:
Align the triangle mark (∇) on the food storage barrel with the open lock symbol (🔓) on the main unit. Gently press down and rotate the barrel clockwise to align with the closed lock symbol (🔒) to secure it.
- Install Desiccant Bag:
Open the lid of the food storage barrel. Place the desiccant bag into the designated compartment within the lid to help keep the pet food fresh. Close the lid securely using the safety button lock clasp.

Place the stainless steel food bowl into the designated slot at the front of the feeder base.
- Fill with Dry Food:
Open the lid and pour dry pet food into the storage barrel. The recommended kibble size is 2-10mm. Close the lid securely.

Operating Instructions
App Connection and Scheduling
- Download the App: Search for "PetNetizen" in your mobile app store and download it.
- Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. For Android users below version 12, enable GPS for a stable connection.
- Pair Device: Open the "PetNetizen" app. The app will scan for nearby devices. Select your DUDUPET feeder from the list to connect. Keep your phone within 10 meters of the feeder during pairing and operation, avoiding large obstacles.
- Set Feeding Schedule:
- Within the app, navigate to the "Feeding plan" section.
- Add a new feeding plan. You can set up to 10 meals per day, with 1-15 portions per meal.
- Customize the time, days of the week, and number of portions for each meal.
- Save your feeding plan.

- Manual Feeding:
You can manually dispense food at any time through the app without affecting your scheduled feeding plan. Select "Feed now" and choose the desired number of portions.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning of the feeder is recommended for your pet's health and to ensure optimal performance.
- Disassembly for Cleaning:
To clean, disassemble the food storage barrel, lid, and stainless steel bowl. These parts are detachable and can be hand-washed. Do not wash the main unit base or the core dispensing mechanism.

- Cleaning the Main Unit:
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the control panel and main unit base. Do not submerge the main unit in water or place it in a dishwasher, as this will cause permanent damage.
- Replacing Desiccant:
Replace the desiccant bag periodically to maintain food freshness. The desiccant compartment is located in the lid.
- Anti-Clog Design:
The feeder features an anti-clog design. If food accumulates in the chute, remove the food bucket lid and clear any blockages.

Troubleshooting
- Device Not Connecting to App:
Ensure Bluetooth is active on your phone and the feeder is within 10 meters. For Android 12 and below, enable GPS. Check for physical obstructions between the phone and feeder.
- Food Not Dispensing:
Check if the food storage barrel is properly aligned and locked. Verify that the kibble size is within the recommended 2-10mm range. Inspect the dispensing chute for any blockages and clear them if necessary.
- Restoring Factory Settings:
If you encounter persistent issues or wish to reset the device, locate the reset button on the bottom of the feeder. Press and hold this button for 6 seconds until a long "beep" sound is heard. This will restore the device to factory settings and clear all data.
