Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove the toaster oven and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Remove any packing materials, stickers, or protective film from the appliance.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Wash the baking tray and wire rack in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely.

Before First Use:

It is recommended to run the oven empty for about 10-15 minutes on the highest temperature setting (230°C) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial operation; this is normal and will dissipate. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

5. Operating Instructions

General Operation:

  1. Place the wire rack and/or baking tray into the desired position inside the oven.
  2. Place the food item(s) on the baking tray or directly on the wire rack.
  3. Close the glass door securely.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V/60Hz electrical outlet.
  5. Turn the Temperature Control Knob to the desired temperature setting (e.g., 200°C for baking).
  6. Turn the Timer Knob clockwise to the desired cooking time (up to 60 minutes). The power indicator light will illuminate, indicating the oven is on.
  7. When the set time has elapsed, the oven will automatically turn off and a bell will ring.
  8. Carefully remove the cooked food using oven mitts.
  9. If cooking for less than 5 minutes, turn the timer past 5 minutes and then back to the desired time to activate the timer mechanism.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will help maintain the performance and appearance of your toaster oven.

  1. Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the finish.
  3. Interior: To clean the interior, wipe with a damp cloth and mild liquid soap. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive liquid cleaner can be used. Avoid touching the heating elements.
  4. Baking Tray and Wire Rack: These accessories can be washed in warm, soapy water. For baked-on food, soak them before washing. They are not dishwasher safe.
  5. Crumb Tray: The toaster oven is equipped with a crumb tray (usually located at the bottom). Pull it out, empty crumbs, and wash it with warm, soapy water. Ensure it is dry before reinserting.
  6. Glass Door: Clean the glass door with a glass cleaner or a damp cloth.
  7. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  8. Ensure all parts are completely dry before plugging the oven back in and using it.
