2. Setup
Proper setup is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker. Ensure the machine is placed on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation around it.
2.1 Unpacking and Initial Placement
- Carefully remove all packaging materials and internal protective tapes.
- Place the ice maker in its desired location, ensuring it is level.
- Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in to allow the refrigerant to settle.
2.2 Water Connection
The ice maker supports two methods for water supply: direct tap water connection or bottled water. Ensure the water supply is clean and within recommended pressure limits.

- Tap Water Connection: Connect the provided water inlet pipe to the "WATER INLET" port on the back of the machine and to your tap water supply. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
- Bottled Water: If using bottled water, place the water bottle securely on the designated top inlet.
- Connect the drain pipe to the "OUTLET" port on the back of the machine and direct it to a suitable drain or bucket.

3. Operating Instructions
The VEVOR ice maker features an intuitive LED digital display and mechanical buttons for easy operation.
3.1 Control Panel Overview

- ON/OFF Button: Powers the machine on or off.
- Reservation Button: Sets a scheduled time for ice production (up to 23 hours).
- Clean Button: Initiates the automatic self-cleaning cycle (press for 5 seconds).
- Light Button: Toggles the internal blue light on/off.
- +/- Buttons: Adjusts ice thickness by increasing or decreasing ice-making time.
- Indicators: Ice Making, Ice Full, Water Shortage, Cleaning, Stoppage.
3.2 Ice Production
- Ensure the water supply is connected and the machine is plugged in.
- Press the ON/OFF button to start ice production.
- Adjust ice thickness using the +/- buttons. Ice cubes can be produced in as little as 12-15 minutes depending on the selected thickness.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your ice maker.
4.1 Automatic Self-Cleaning
- To activate the self-cleaning function, press and hold the "Clean" button for 5 seconds.
- The machine will automatically cycle water through its system to clean internal components.
- It is recommended to perform this cycle regularly, especially after prolonged periods of non-use or before storing the machine.

4.2 General Cleaning and Storage
- Always unplug the machine before cleaning.
- Clean the inside walls of the water box and ice mold with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Replace the water filter element regularly (if applicable).
- For long-term storage, drain all water from the machine and allow it to air dry completely before storing in a cool, dry place.
