1. Product Overview

2. Safety Information

• Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 800 lbs (approximately 363 kg) for this bed frame. Exceeding this limit may cause damage to the frame and potential injury.

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically takes 30-60 minutes. Follow these steps carefully. All parts are well-labeled for easier identification.

1. Unpack and Identify: Lay out all components on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a rug or blanket) to prevent scratches. Identify each part using the labels and the provided parts list.
2. Assemble Main Frame: Connect the main side rails and end rails using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are aligned correctly before tightening.

3. Install Center Support Rods: Attach the center support rods to the main frame. These rods are crucial for the bed frame's stability and noise reduction. The foam seal tape on the center support rod should face upwards to reduce friction noise.
4. Attach Slats: Securely attach the metal slats across the frame. Ensure they are evenly spaced and firmly connected to provide adequate mattress support.
5. Add Mattress Stoppers (Optional): If desired, install the plastic mattress stoppers on the edges of the frame to prevent the mattress from slipping. These are easily removable.

6. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, go back and ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened using the provided Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.

Note: Some users have reported minor issues with weld beads obstructing connections. If you encounter this, carefully inspect the parts and ensure proper alignment. Do not force connections.

5. Operating Instructions

The IDEALHOUSE Metal Platform Bed Frame is designed for straightforward use.

• Mattress Placement: Once assembled, simply place your full-size mattress directly onto the metal slats. A box spring is not required due to the robust slat support system.
• Under-Bed Storage: Utilize the 13 inches of clearance beneath the frame for convenient storage of boxes, bins, or other items.

6. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
• Regular Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain the frame's stability and prevent squeaking.
• Floor Protection: Ensure the protective footpads remain intact to prevent scratching your flooring.

• Squeaking Noise:

  Cause: Loose connections or friction between metal parts.

• Difficulty Assembling / Parts Not Fitting:

  Cause: Misalignment of parts, or manufacturing variations (e.g., weld beads).

  Solution: Double-check the instruction manual and part labels to ensure correct orientation. If a part seems obstructed (e.g., by a weld bead), try gently wiggling it into place or contacting customer support for assistance. Do not force parts, as this may cause damage.

• Mattress Slipping:

  Cause: Mattress stoppers not installed or ineffective.

  Solution: Ensure the plastic mattress stoppers are correctly installed on the frame. If your mattress still slips, consider using a non-slip pad between the mattress and the slats.
