Instruction Manual

1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Retain this manual for future reference.

  • Maximum Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 300 pounds (136 kg). Exceeding this limit may cause damage to the chair or personal injury.
  • Proper Assembly: Ensure all components are correctly assembled and securely fastened before using the chair. Improper assembly can lead to instability and potential injury.
  • Clearance: Ensure there is adequate clearance around the chair when operating the lift and recline functions to prevent obstruction or damage.
  • Objects in Cup Holders: Do not leave cups or any objects in the cup holders when raising the chair, as they may spill or fall.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the chair's moving parts during operation.
  • Power Cord: Position the power cord safely to avoid tripping hazards and ensure it is not pinched or damaged by the chair's mechanism.

2. Package Contents

The Esright Power Lift Recliner is shipped in two separate boxes. Please ensure you have received both packages before beginning assembly.

  • Box 1: Contains the main center part of the chair, including the base, seat, armrest, backrest, leg-rest, all motors, and mechanical components.
  • Box 2: Contains the two recliner side panels.
  • Hardware Package: Includes any necessary fasteners or small components.

3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the Esright Power Lift Recliner is designed to be straightforward and typically takes 10-15 minutes without the need for additional tools.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from both boxes. Ensure all components listed in the Package Contents section are present.
  2. Attach Side Panels: The two recliner side panels from Box 2 are designed to slide and attach directly into designated slots on the main center part of the chair from Box 1. Ensure they are firmly seated.
  3. Connect Electrical Components: Locate the electrical connections for the motor, remote control, and power supply. Connect them securely. The most time-consuming part of assembly is typically connecting these electrical components.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. A drop cord with two outlets may be convenient but is not supplied.
  5. Initial Check: Before first use, test all functions (lift, recline, massage, heat) to ensure proper operation.

4. Operating Instructions

The Esright Power Lift Recliner offers multiple functions for comfort and assistance.

4.1 Power Lift and Recline Function

The chair is equipped with an electric TUV motor that allows for simultaneous control of the backrest and footrest. This provides a smooth transition between sitting, reclining, and standing positions.

  • Control Buttons: The primary control buttons for the lift and recline functions are located on the right side of the chair.
  • Recline: Press the appropriate button to recline the chair up to 150 degrees, extending the footrest for relaxation. The chair offers infinite reclining positions.

A convenient USB charge port is integrated into the chair, allowing you to charge your electronic devices while relaxing.

4.4 Side Pockets

Four side pockets are located on the armrests, providing ample storage space for remote controls, magazines, or other personal items.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your recliner.

  • Cleaning: For general cleaning, wipe the linen fabric surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which may damage the upholstery.
  • Spills: Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this can spread the stain.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect all electrical connections and moving parts for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Motor Care: The electric motor is designed for durability. Avoid overloading the chair or forcing the mechanism, which can strain the motor.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Esright Power Lift Recliner, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Chair Not Operating:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Check all electrical connections between the chair components and the power supply.
    • Verify that the wall outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
  • Motor Noise: A quiet and smooth motor operation is expected. If you notice unusual or excessive noise, discontinue use and contact customer support.
  • Massage/Heat Not Working:
    • Ensure the massage controller is properly connected and powered.
    • Check the settings on the massage controller.
  • Chair Feels Stiff: The high-density sponge padding may feel stiff initially. It typically softens after a day or two of regular use.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact Esright customer service for further assistance.
