3.3 Backup Camera Wiring

Connect the included backup camera using the following steps:

1. Connect the RCA port of the camera to the CAMERA plug on the main unit.
2. Connect the red power cable from the camera to the positive electrode of the vehicle's reversing light.
3. Connect the black ground cable from the camera to the negative electrode of the vehicle's reversing light.
4. Connect the small red wire on the RCA cable to the brake cable (often a brown cable) on the main unit's harness.
