4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Safety Precautions
- Ensure power is disconnected before any wiring or installation.
- Installation should be performed by qualified personnel.
- Do not exceed the specified voltage and current ratings.
- Avoid exposing the device to moisture or extreme temperatures.
4.2 Wiring Instructions
Refer to the wiring diagram on the back of the meter for correct connections. The meter requires both power input and current transformer (CT) connection.
- Connect Power Input: Connect the AC 80-260V power supply to the 'N' (Neutral) and 'L' (Live) terminals on the meter.
- Connect Current Transformer (CT): Plug the small white connector of the coil CT into the corresponding port on the meter.
- Install CT Coil: Pass the live wire of the load circuit through the hole of the coil CT. Ensure the direction of the current flow through the CT matches the arrow indication on the CT (if present) for accurate readings. Do not connect the CT to the neutral wire.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On
Once correctly wired and power is supplied, the meter's LCD display will illuminate and show the current voltage, current, active power, and accumulated energy readings.
5.2 Reading the Display
The LCD screen is divided into four main sections:
- Voltage (V): Displays the real-time AC voltage.
- Current (A): Displays the real-time AC current flowing through the CT.
- Power (W): Displays the real-time active power consumption.
- Energy (Wh/kWh): Displays the accumulated energy consumption. This value will continue to accumulate until reset.
5.3 Resetting Energy Data
To reset the accumulated energy (kWh) reading, press and hold the small button located on the right side of the meter's front panel for approximately 5 seconds until the energy value resets to zero. This action only resets the energy data; other parameters remain unaffected.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the meter's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the display or casing.
6.2 Environmental Conditions
Ensure the meter is operated within its specified temperature range (-10°C to 60°C) and protected from direct sunlight, dust, and excessive humidity to ensure longevity and accurate performance.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Display: Check the power input connections (N and L terminals) to ensure they are secure and receiving AC 80-260V. Verify the power source is active.
- Current/Power Reading is Zero: Ensure the CT coil is correctly plugged into the meter and the live wire of the load is properly passed through the CT. Confirm the load is drawing current.
- Incorrect Readings: Double-check all wiring according to the diagram. Ensure the CT is installed on the live wire and not the neutral. Verify the load is within the meter's measurement range.
- Energy Not Accumulating: Confirm that current and power readings are active. If the issue persists after checking connections, try resetting the energy data as described in Section 5.3.
If problems persist after following these troubleshooting steps, please contact customer support.
