Once connected, open the document or image you wish to print from your device. Use the SharpFox APP for mobile printing or your computer's standard print function for PC printing. Adjust print settings as needed (e.g., paper size, orientation) before initiating the print job.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Printer

Regular cleaning helps maintain print quality and extends the printer's lifespan. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the exterior of the printer. For the print head, use a specialized thermal printer cleaning pen or a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Ensure the printer is powered off and disconnected from power before cleaning.

5.2 Paper Handling and Storage

Always use high-quality thermal paper. Store thermal paper in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent premature discoloration or degradation. Avoid touching the thermal coating directly.

5.3 Battery Care

To maximize battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If the printer will not be used for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge every few months to prevent deep discharge.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your C80 printer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Printer Not Powering On: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the printer to power and try again.
  • Cannot Connect via Bluetooth: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on both the printer and your mobile device. Ensure the SharpFox APP is open and attempting to connect. Try restarting both devices.
  • No Print Output: Check if thermal paper is loaded correctly and not jammed. Ensure the printer is connected and recognized by your device. Verify the print head is clean.
  • Poor Print Quality: This may indicate low battery, incorrect paper loading, or a dirty print head. Clean the print head and ensure fresh thermal paper is used.
  • Printer Not Recognized by PC: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected and the printer drivers are correctly installed. Try a different USB port or cable.

For persistent issues, consult the SharpFox APP's help section or the manufacturer's support resources.
