3. Setup and First Use
Unpacking:
- Remove all packaging materials and promotional stickers from the appliance.
- Check that all components are present and undamaged.
Initial Cleaning:
- Wash the frying baskets and any removable inserts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Placement:
- Place the air fryer on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure there is at least 10-15 cm of clear space around the back and sides of the appliance for proper air circulation.
- Do not place the appliance near flammable materials or under wall cabinets.
First Operation (Burn-in):
It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C before first use to eliminate any manufacturing odors. Ensure the room is well-ventilated during this process.
4. Operating Instructions
Basic Operation:
- Plug the appliance into a grounded power outlet. The LED displays will illuminate.
- Pull out the desired frying basket(s) and place food inside. Do not overfill.
- Slide the basket(s) back into the appliance until they click into place.
- Press the power button (U) on the respective control panel to activate it.
- Select a preset program or manually adjust the temperature (80°C - 200°C) and time using the '+' and '-' buttons.
- Press the start/pause button (▶/II) to begin cooking.
Dual Zone Cooking (Simultaneous Preparation):
The PC FR 1296 H allows you to cook two different dishes simultaneously with independent settings for each basket. This is ideal for preparing a complete meal where components have different cooking requirements.
- Load food into both baskets.
- Activate both control panels.
- Set the desired temperature and time for the left basket using its control panel.
- Set the desired temperature and time for the right basket using its control panel.
- Utilize the "Just In Time" system: If dishes have different cooking times, you can program them to finish simultaneously. Consult the recipe or your experience to set the longer cooking time first, then calculate the start time for the shorter cooking time.
- Press start on both panels.

Automatic Programs:
The appliance includes 8 pre-set automatic programs for common dishes. Refer to the icon guide on the control panel for specific program functions. These programs offer optimized temperature and time settings, which can often be adjusted manually if needed.
Dehydrator Function:
The integrated dehydrator function allows for vitamin-preserving drying of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and meat. This function operates at lower temperatures over longer periods to gently remove moisture.
- Prepare food by slicing it thinly and evenly.
- Place food in a single layer in the frying basket.
- Select the dehydrator program or manually set a low temperature (e.g., 40-70°C) and a longer time (several hours).
- Monitor the food periodically and rotate baskets if necessary for even drying.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Frying Baskets and Inserts: The non-stick coated baskets and any removable inserts should be washed with warm, soapy water after each use. Avoid using abrasive sponges or metal utensils that could damage the non-stick coating. They may also be dishwasher safe (check product manual for specific confirmation).
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
