Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery cover downwards to open.
  3. Insert two (2) AA batteries (not included), ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the indicators inside the compartment.

Operating Your Remote

Button Functions

The UltraPro BigEZ remote features a simplified layout with large, clearly labeled buttons for essential functions.

  • Power Button: Turns your TV or selected device on/off.
  • TV Brand Buttons (Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Roku TV): Selects the TV to be controlled.
  • AUX Button: Controls your auxiliary device (preset for Roku boxes, but programmable).
  • Directional Pad (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK): Navigates menus and confirms selections.
  • Volume Up/Down (+VOL / -VOL): Adjusts the volume.
  • Channel Up/Down (+CH / -CH): Changes channels.
  • Number Pad (0-9, Enter): Direct channel entry.

AUX Device Programming

The AUX button is preset for Roku boxes. To program it for another device (e.g., soundbar, DVD player):

  1. Turn on the device you wish to program (e.g., soundbar).
  2. Press and hold the AUX button.
  3. While holding AUX, press the Power button once.
  4. Release both buttons. The AUX button light will remain lit.
  5. Enter the 4-digit code for your device brand (refer to the code list in the full manual or online support).
  6. If the device turns off, the code is correct. Press AUX again to save the code.
  7. If the device does not turn off, try the next code for your brand.

Note: The remote retains the AUX device code for approximately 10 minutes without batteries. Re-programming may be necessary after extended battery removal.
