2.2 Components
The YJ-5038 alarm clock features a triangular wooden design with a hidden LED display. The back panel contains all control buttons and power inputs.

- SET Button: Used to enter setting modes (time, alarm, brightness).

3. Setup
3.1 Powering the Device

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Display Modes
Press the UP button to cycle through display modes:
- Time Display: Shows current time.
- Temperature/Humidity Display: Shows current temperature and relative humidity.
- Cycle Display: Alternates between time and temperature/humidity.

4.2 Setting Time and Date
- Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The year will flash.
- Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the year.
- Press SET again to move to month, then day, hour, and minute. Adjust each with UP or DOWN.
- After setting minutes, press SET to exit.
4.3 Setting Alarms (A1, A2, A3)
The clock supports three independent alarms.
- From the normal time display, press the SET button repeatedly until 'A1' appears.
- Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds. The alarm hour will flash.
- Use UP or DOWN to set the alarm hour. Press SET.
- Use UP or DOWN to set the alarm minute. Press SET.
- Use UP or DOWN to enable ('ON') or disable ('--') the alarm. Press SET to confirm.
- Repeat steps for A2 and A3 if desired.

4.4 Adjusting Brightness
The screen brightness can be adjusted manually in three levels.
- In normal time display, press and hold the UP button for 3 seconds.
- Use the UP or DOWN buttons to cycle through the 3 brightness levels.
- Release the UP button to confirm your selection.
4.5 Voice Control Function
The voice control feature allows the display to turn on when a sound above 60dB is detected, then turn off after a short period to save power.
- To activate voice control, press the DOWN button. The display will show 'ON' or 'OFF' for voice control.
- Select 'ON' to enable voice control. The display will turn off after a few seconds.
- To activate the display, make a sound (e.g., clap hands, speak) near the clock.
- To deactivate voice control and keep the display continuously on, press the DOWN button again and select 'OFF'.

4.6 Temperature Unit Conversion
To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for temperature display:
- In temperature/humidity display mode, press the UP button briefly. The temperature unit will toggle between °C and °F.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the device, as this may damage the finish or internal components.
5.2 Battery Replacement
If using AAA batteries, replace all four batteries simultaneously when the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
6. Troubleshooting
- Display is off or dim:
- Check if the USB cable is securely connected or if AAA batteries are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge.
- Ensure voice control is not enabled if you expect a continuous display.

- Verify that the alarm is set to 'ON' in the alarm settings (A1, A2, or A3).
- Check the alarm time to ensure it is correctly set. - Incorrect time or date:
- Re-enter the time and date settings as described in Section 4.2. - Voice control not responding:
- Ensure voice control is enabled ('ON').
- Make sure the sound source is close enough and loud enough (above 60dB) to trigger the sensor. - Clock is unresponsive:
- Press the RESET button on the back of the clock using a thin, pointed object (e.g., a paperclip). This will restore factory settings.
