5.2 Mounting

The controller is designed for panel mounting. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit and avoid locations with excessive vibration or direct sunlight.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On

After completing all wiring, connect the power supply. The display will light up, showing the current temperature and humidity readings.

6.2 Setting Temperature and Humidity

The SHT2000 allows you to set desired temperature and humidity values. Specific button functions (e.g., SET, UP, DOWN) are typically used for this. Refer to the device's front panel for button labels.

  1. Press the SET button to enter setting mode.
  2. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to adjust the desired temperature or humidity setpoint.
  3. Press SET again to confirm the value and move to the next parameter, or wait for a few seconds for the device to automatically save and exit setting mode.

6.3 Temperature Calibration

The device supports temperature calibration to ensure accuracy. This feature allows you to adjust the displayed temperature to match a known reference thermometer.

  1. Access the calibration menu (usually by long-pressing a specific button or a combination).
  2. Adjust the calibration offset using the UP/DOWN buttons.
  3. Save the setting.

6.4 Cooling Control Output Delay Protection

This function prevents rapid cycling of cooling equipment, extending its lifespan. When enabled, the cooling output will have a delay before restarting after being turned off.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the device's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the device.

7.2 Sensor Care

Keep the temperature and humidity sensor clean and free from dust or debris. Avoid exposing the sensor to extreme physical shock or corrosive environments, which can affect its accuracy.
