Safety Information

• WARNING: This fixture is designed for use with reptile bulbs up to a maximum of 100W. Do not exceed this wattage.
• Ensure the fixture is securely mounted and stable to prevent accidental falls.
• Keep the fixture and temperature probe away from water to prevent electrical shock.
• Do not touch the bulb or fixture immediately after use, as they will be hot. Allow sufficient time for cooling.
• Always unplug the fixture from the power outlet before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or bulb replacement.
• Ensure proper ventilation around the fixture to prevent overheating.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Setup

1. Bulb Installation

1. Ensure the fixture is unplugged from the power source.
2. Carefully screw an E26 base reptile bulb (max 100W) into the ceramic lamp head. Do not overtighten.

2. Fixture Placement

The fixture can be placed directly on a mesh cage top or hung using the included hook.

• On Mesh Cage: Place the dome directly on the mesh top of the terrarium, ensuring it is stable and the bulb does not touch the mesh.
• Hanging: Use the integrated hook to hang the fixture from a light stand or other secure support above the terrarium. Ensure adequate clearance between the bulb and any surfaces.

3. Temperature Probe Placement

Fix the temperature probe to the desired area within the terrarium where temperature monitoring is critical. Use the suction cup to secure it to the glass or a smooth surface. Ensure the probe is not directly under the heat lamp to avoid inaccurate readings, but rather in the basking or ambient temperature zone you wish to control.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• To Turn On: Long press the SET button for 3 seconds. The display will illuminate.
• To Turn Off: Long press the SET button for 3 seconds. The digital screen will show "OF".

2. Temperature Setting

1. Press the UP (▲) and SET buttons simultaneously to enter temperature setting mode. The temperature value on the display will flash.
2. Use the UP (▲) and DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the target temperature (range: 20°C-50°C / 68°F-122°F).
3. Press the SET button again to confirm the temperature and start operation.

3. Timing Function

1. In working mode, press the DOWN (▼) and SET buttons simultaneously to enter timing setting. The default duration is 0H.
2. Press the UP (▲) button to select the desired timing duration: 2H → 4H → 8H → 12H.
3. Press the DOWN (▼) button to reduce the duration back to 0H.
4. Press the SET button to confirm the timing setting. The fixture will operate for the set duration and then stop, displaying '--' on the LED.
5. If the power is not turned off manually, the system will restart and repeat the timing function at the set time point on the next day.

4. Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, press the UP (▲) and DOWN (▼) buttons simultaneously.

5. Power Failure Memory Function

In the event of an accidental power failure or when the main power supply is switched off, the thermostat will automatically restart and restore the previously set temperature and timer values once power is re-established. This ensures the continuous and consistent environment for your pet.

Note: If you manually long-press the SET button to turn off the power, the thermostat's timing function will be reset to zero. The next time you turn it on, you will need to reset the working hours, otherwise it will operate continuously for 24 hours.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Ensure the fixture is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
• Bulb Replacement: Always unplug the fixture and allow the bulb to cool completely before attempting to replace it. Carefully unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new E26 base reptile bulb (max 100W).
• Ventilation: Periodically check that the ventilation holes on top of the dome are clear of dust or debris to ensure proper heat dissipation.
• Probe Inspection: Regularly inspect the temperature probe for any damage or wear. Ensure it is securely attached and providing accurate readings.
