The FNRSI DPOS350P is a versatile 4-in-1 portable lab analyzer designed for various electronic testing and measurement applications. It integrates a digital phosphor oscilloscope, a signal generator, a spectrum analyzer, and a frequency response analyzer into a single compact device.

3. Setup and Initial Use

3.1 Charging the Device

The DPOS350P features an integrated 3.7V/8000mAh lithium battery with QC 2.0 technology for fast charging. Use the provided QC18W fast charger and USB data cable to charge the device. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.

3.2 Connecting Probes

Connect the 350MHz probes to the CH1 and CH2 input channels on the device. Ensure a secure connection for accurate measurements. The device supports dual 1MΩ (18pF) input channels for simultaneous signal measurement.

3.3 Powering On and Initial Configuration

Press and hold the power button to turn on the device. The 7-inch IPS touchscreen will display the main interface. The device supports multiple languages and offers 5 preset power-on items. It features a capacitive touch screen for interaction.

4.1 Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope (DPO)

The DPOS350P functions as a 350MHz digital phosphor oscilloscope with 1GSa/s real-time sampling and a 50,000 wfm/s refresh rate. It captures elusive signal anomalies with a 1ns rise time.

  • High-Resolution Mode: Supports 8-bit to 16-bit high-resolution mode for improved signal detection and display.
  • Display Features: Utilizes digital fluorescent grayscale and color temperature display for superior signal clarity.
  • Overvoltage Protection: Features 400V overvoltage protection.
  • Modes: Includes XY, Zoom, and Roll modes for precise debugging.

4.2 Signal Generator

The built-in 50MHz signal generator can output 14 standard waveforms and custom signals (up to 500 storage slots). It supports sine waves up to 50MHz and square waves up to 10MHz.

  • Amplitude: Adjustable from 0-5Vpp.
  • Offset: Adjustable from ±2.5V.
  • Duty Cycle: Adjustable from 0.1%-99.9%.
  • Resolution: 1mV/1Hz resolution for versatile stimulus generation.

4.3 Spectrum Analyzer

The 350MHz spectrum analyzer performs 200kHz-350MHz FFT analysis with 32K points. It is ideal for EMI/RF troubleshooting.

  • Dynamic Range: -60dBmV to +260dBmV.
  • Features: Includes max harmonic marker and auto-calibration.

4.4 Frequency Response Analyzer (FRA)

The 50MHz frequency response analyzer allows for sweep tests from 100Hz-50MHz with 20-500 excitation points. It is used to measure gain/phase response for filters, amplifiers, or system validation.

  • Analysis: Performs Bode Plot Analysis.
  • Adjustments: Adjustable frequency, excitation amplitude, and offset.
  • Measurement: Supports cursor tracking for measurements.

4.5 Data Storage and Export

The device is equipped with 1GB storage, capable of saving up to 90 images (screenshots) and 500 waveforms for secondary analysis. You can connect the device to a PC via USB to view or copy screenshots.

5. Maintenance

5.1 General Care

Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning the exterior and the touchscreen. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.2 Firmware Updates

The device supports firmware upgrades via .iso image files. Connect the device to a PC and follow the instructions provided on the manufacturer's website for the update process.

5.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

6. Troubleshooting

This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter with the DPOS350P.
