General Safety Precautions:
- Professional Installation: Installation, maintenance, and repair must be performed by qualified service personnel. Improper installation can lead to electric shock, fire, or water leakage.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the power supply matches the rating plate specifications. Do not use extension cords or multi-outlet adapters. Always use a dedicated power circuit.
- Grounding: The unit must be properly grounded to prevent electric shock.
- Flammable Refrigerant: This unit uses R-32 refrigerant, which is mildly flammable. Do not expose the unit to open flames or ignition sources.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation during installation and servicing, especially in enclosed spaces.
- Children and Vulnerable Persons: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

3. Installation Guide

Installation Overview:
- Indoor Unit Placement: The indoor unit should be mounted on a wall, ensuring sufficient space around it for proper airflow and maintenance. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Outdoor Unit Placement: The outdoor unit should be placed in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and obstructions. Ensure it is on a stable, level surface.
- Refrigerant Piping: Proper length and insulation of copper piping are crucial for efficiency.
- Drainage: Ensure the drain pipe is correctly installed to allow for proper water drainage and prevent leaks.
- Electrical Connections: All electrical wiring must comply with local codes and the unit's specifications.

Service Charges for Split AC Installation:
Below is a general guide for service charges related to split AC installation. Please note that these are indicative and actual costs may vary based on specific site conditions and additional materials required. GST will be applicable.

Inclusions:
- Mounting and installation of ODU & IDU (with accessories, if required).
- Drilling on the brick wall (up to 10") for the copper tube, drain pipe, and the interconnection of electrical wires with communication cables.
- Cleaning the site.
- Product demonstration covering features, safety protocols, and troubleshooting steps.
Exclusions:
- Additional copper pipe, electric / communication cables and drain pipe beyond the standard.
- Civil / core-cutting / carpentry / metal work on concrete / stone wall >10" thickness.
- Stabiliser & ODU stand supplied by customer will be charged for installation.
- Dismantling old AC.
- Scaffolding arrangement.
- MCB arrangement of 15/16 amps for 1 TR, 1.5 TR & 20 amps for 2 TR.
- Society / association permissions.
- Installation of external protective covers.

4. Operating Instructions
Your Blue Star AC comes with a user-friendly remote control and smart features for convenient operation.
Remote Control Functions:
The remote control allows you to manage all functions of your AC. Ensure batteries are correctly inserted (AAA 1.5V). Point the remote directly at the indoor unit.

5. Maintenance and Care

Air Filter Cleaning:
- Frequency: Clean the air filters every two weeks, or more frequently if the environment is dusty.
- Procedure:
- Open the front panel of the indoor unit.
- Remove the air filters.
- Wash the filters with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry completely in a shaded area.
- Reinstall the dry filters and close the front panel.
Outdoor Unit Cleaning:
- Periodically check the outdoor unit for any obstructions (leaves, debris) and clear them.
- Ensure the condenser coils are clean. For deep cleaning, it is recommended to contact a professional service technician.
