4.4 Alarm Functions
The weather station includes various alarm functions, such as time alarm, indoor and outdoor temperature/humidity alerts, gust/average wind speed alerts, barometric pressure alerts, and rainfall alerts. Refer to the detailed manual for setting specific alarms.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Outdoor Sensor
Regular cleaning of the outdoor sensor is recommended to ensure accurate readings. Periodically check and clean the rain collector funnel and wind cups to remove debris, leaves, or insects that may obstruct their function.
5.2 Battery Replacement
The outdoor sensor requires 3 AAA batteries. Replace them when the low battery indicator appears on the display console. The display console uses a power adapter, but can use 3 AAA batteries for backup power.
5.3 Calibration
The weather station supports manual calibration of temperature, humidity, wind speed, barometric pressure, and rainfall. Consult the detailed manual for specific calibration procedures if you suspect inaccurate readings.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Urageuxy Wireless Weather Station, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No outdoor data displayed / Display loses connection with outdoor sensor | Out of range, battery low, interference, sensor malfunction. | Ensure sensor is within 328ft/100m of console. Replace outdoor sensor batteries. Relocate console or sensor to avoid interference. Re-pair the sensor with the console. |
| Inaccurate temperature/humidity readings | Sensor exposed to direct sunlight/heat source, blocked airflow, need for calibration. | Relocate outdoor sensor to a shaded, well-ventilated area. Perform manual calibration if necessary. |
| Wind speed/direction not registering | Wind cups/vane obstructed, sensor not level, debris. | Check for obstructions and clean wind cups/vane. Ensure outdoor sensor is mounted level. |
| Rainfall not registering | Rain collector blocked, debris in tipping bucket mechanism. | Clean the rain collector funnel and check for debris in the tipping bucket. |
| Wi-Fi connection issues | Incorrect Wi-Fi password, 5Ghz network, router issues, firewall. | Ensure correct 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network and password. Restart router. Check firewall settings. |
