1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Urageuxy Wireless Weather Station. This device provides real-time local weather data, including indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, rainfall, barometric pressure, UV index, light intensity, moon phase, and weather forecasts. This manual will guide you through the installation, setup, and operation of your new weather station.

2. Package Contents

Please verify that all items are present in your package:

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Outdoor Sensor Assembly

The integrated outdoor sensor array measures wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV, and light. It also includes temperature and humidity sensors. Ensure the sensor is assembled correctly before mounting.

  1. Attach the wind cups and wind vane to their respective shafts.
  2. Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor.
  3. Mount the sensor array in an open area, away from obstructions, to ensure accurate readings for wind and rain. The mounting pole and hardware are provided for secure installation on a fence, roof, or garden post.

3.2 Display Console Setup

The indoor display console can be powered by the included power adapter or 3 AAA batteries (not included) for backup. Connect the power adapter to the console and a power outlet. The console features a desktop stand and hanging holes for flexible placement.

3.3 Wireless Connection

The outdoor sensor transmits data wirelessly to the indoor display console. The transmission range is up to 328ft/100m in open air. Ensure the console and sensor are within range for optimal performance.

3.4 Wi-Fi Synchronization and Online Weather Servers

The display console features built-in Wi-Fi (2.4G router support) to upload data to online weather services like Weather Underground, PWSWeather, and WeatherCloud. This allows you to view, analyze, and share your local weather data on your PC or smart device.

  1. Follow the on-screen instructions on the display console to connect to your home Wi-Fi network.
  2. Register your weather station on your preferred online weather service (e.g., Weather Underground) and enter the station ID and key into the console's settings.

4. Operation

4.1 Display Console Overview

The color display provides a clear overview of all collected weather data. Key information includes:

  • Indoor/Outdoor Temperature and Humidity
  • Wind Speed (Gust/Average) and Direction
  • Rainfall (1 hour, 24 hours, week, month, total)
  • Barometric Pressure
  • UV Index and Light Intensity
  • Moon Phase
  • Weather Forecast Icons
  • Time and Date

4.2 Backlight Adjustment

The display console features 3 levels of brightness adjustment (High, Medium, Low) and an OFF mode for optimal viewing in various lighting conditions. Use the 'SNOOZE/LIGHT' button to cycle through the brightness settings.

4.3 Weather Forecast Function

The weather station provides a forecast for the next 24-48 hours using intuitive icons (Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy). These icons represent weather fluctuations and not the current weather conditions.

4.4 Alarm Functions

The weather station includes various alarm functions, such as time alarm, indoor and outdoor temperature/humidity alerts, gust/average wind speed alerts, barometric pressure alerts, and rainfall alerts. Refer to the detailed manual for setting specific alarms.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Outdoor Sensor

Regular cleaning of the outdoor sensor is recommended to ensure accurate readings. Periodically check and clean the rain collector funnel and wind cups to remove debris, leaves, or insects that may obstruct their function.

5.2 Battery Replacement

The outdoor sensor requires 3 AAA batteries. Replace them when the low battery indicator appears on the display console. The display console uses a power adapter, but can use 3 AAA batteries for backup power.

5.3 Calibration

The weather station supports manual calibration of temperature, humidity, wind speed, barometric pressure, and rainfall. Consult the detailed manual for specific calibration procedures if you suspect inaccurate readings.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Urageuxy Wireless Weather Station, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
