Setup and Installation
1. Mounting the Dash Cam
- Clean the desired mounting area on your windshield.
- Apply an electrostatic sticker to the clean area. This helps protect your windshield and allows for easier removal.
- Attach the 3M double-sided adhesive pad to the dash cam mount.
- Securely attach the dash cam with the adhesive pad to the electrostatic sticker on your windshield. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the road.

2. Hardwire Kit Installation (for 24H Parking Monitor)
The hardwire kit provides continuous power to the dash cam, enabling the 24-hour parking monitor feature and low voltage protection.
- Identify your vehicle's fuse box location.
- Select the appropriate fuse tap from the provided set (Micro Mini, Mini, Small, Medium) that matches your vehicle's fuse type. Refer to your vehicle's manual if unsure.
- Connect the hardwire kit's B+ (red wire) to a constant power fuse (always on).
- Connect the hardwire kit's ACC (yellow wire) to an ignition-switched power fuse (on when the car is on).
- Connect the ground wire (black wire) to a metal bolt or chassis point in your vehicle for a secure ground connection.
- Route the Type-C cable from the hardwire kit to the dash cam, ensuring it is neatly tucked away and does not obstruct driving.
- Plug the Type-C connector into the dash cam's power input.
Important: The low voltage protection feature automatically cuts off power to the dash cam when the vehicle's battery voltage drops to 11.6V (for 12V systems) or 23.2V (for 24V systems) after 1 minute, preventing battery drain. The low voltage value can be adjusted.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on (if connected via ACC power) or when power is supplied (if connected via constant power for parking monitor). It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off or power is disconnected.
2. Recording Modes
- Continuous Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records video in short segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files are overwritten by new recordings.
- G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-Sensor will detect the event and automatically lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
- Parking Monitor: When the vehicle is parked and the hardwire kit is installed, the dash cam can detect impacts or motion and automatically record a short video. This feature provides surveillance even when the vehicle is off.

3. Wi-Fi and App Control
The Veement V300 features built-in Wi-Fi, allowing you to connect your smartphone via a dedicated app. Through the app, you can:
- View live footage from the dash cam.
- Playback recorded videos.
- Download video files to your phone.
- Adjust dash cam settings (e.g., resolution, G-Sensor sensitivity, loop recording duration).
Refer to the app's instructions for detailed usage.

Maintenance
- Memory Card: Regularly format the memory card (at least once a month) within the dash cam settings to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Use a high-quality Class 10 or higher microSD card.
- Lens Cleaning: Keep the camera lens clean using a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the lens.
- Firmware Updates: Check the official Veement website or the mobile app periodically for firmware updates to ensure your dash cam has the latest features and bug fixes.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures for extended periods.
Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On:
- Check all power connections. Ensure the Type-C cable is securely plugged into the dash cam and the power source (hardwire kit or car charger).
- If using the hardwire kit, verify that the fuse taps are correctly installed and the fuses are intact.
- Recording Issues (e.g., freezing, corrupted files):
- Format the memory card.
- Ensure you are using a high-speed (Class 10 or U1/U3) microSD card from a reputable brand.
- Try a different memory card to rule out card issues.
- Wi-Fi Connection Problems:
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the dash cam (if applicable) and your smartphone.
- Restart both the dash cam and your smartphone.
- Make sure you are within close proximity to the dash cam.
- Parking Monitor Not Working:
- Verify that the hardwire kit is correctly installed and providing constant power.
- Check the parking monitor settings in the mobile app.
