5. Setup Instructions

  1. Charge the UPS: Connect the provided power cord to the AC IN port on the back of the UPS and plug it into a wall outlet. The battery indicator lights will illuminate, showing the charging progress. Ensure the UPS is fully charged before first use for optimal performance.
  2. Identify Device Voltage: Determine the required input voltage for your device (e.g., router, modem). The UPS supports 5V, 9V, 12V, POE 15V, and POE 24V outputs.
  3. Select Output Voltage (for POE): If using POE output, use the "SELECTOR" switch to choose between 15V and 24V as required by your POE device. For DC outputs (5V, 9V, 12V), the UPS automatically provides the correct voltage when connected to the corresponding port.
  4. Connect Your Device:
    • For DC-powered devices (5V, 9V, 12V, 15V), use the appropriate DC output port and the provided DC cable.
    • For USB-powered devices, use the USB 5V output port.
    • For POE-powered devices, connect to the POE port after selecting the correct voltage (15V or 24V) using the selector switch.
  5. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to power on the UPS. The device will announce its status in English.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the device powers on and you hear the English voice announcement.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the device powers off.

6.2 Continuous Power Supply

When the UPS is connected to AC power and your devices, it will provide power to your devices while simultaneously charging its internal battery. In the event of a power outage, the UPS will automatically switch to battery power, providing an uninterruptible power supply to your connected devices.

6.3 Battery Level Indicator

The LED indicators on the top of the UPS show the remaining battery capacity:

  • One light: 0-20%
  • Two lights: 20-40%
  • Three lights: 40-60%
  • Four lights: 60-80%
  • Five lights: 80-100%

Monitor these indicators to ensure you are aware of the backup status.

6.4 English Voice Announcement

The UPS provides real-time English voice announcements for:

  • Power on/off status.
  • Port connection and disconnection status.
