1. Introduction

The MINISFORUM UM560 XT is a high-performance mini PC designed for a wide range of applications, from productivity and content creation to home theater and digital signage. Powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 5600HX CPU, this compact system offers robust performance, versatile connectivity, and flexible expansion options, all within a space-saving design.

2. What's in the Box

Before you begin, please ensure all items are present in the package:

• 1x UM560 XT Mini PC
• 1x HDMI Cable
• 1x Base Support
• 1x US Power Adapter

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Connection

1. Connect to Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect your monitor to one of the HDMI ports on the back of the Mini PC. Alternatively, you can use a USB-C to DisplayPort/HDMI cable for the USB-C video output.
2. Connect Peripherals: Plug in your USB keyboard and mouse into the available USB ports.
3. Connect to Network: For a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the 2.5G LAN port. For wireless, ensure your Wi-Fi network is available during initial setup.
4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC 19V port on the Mini PC, then connect the adapter to a power outlet.

3.2 Powering On

Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC. The system will boot up, and you should see the operating system loading on your connected display.

4.1 Multi-Display Setup

The MINISFORUM UM560 XT supports triple 4K display outputs. You can connect up to three monitors simultaneously using the dual HDMI ports and the USB-C port, each supporting 4K resolution at 60Hz. This allows for an expansive workspace, ideal for multitasking and professional applications.

4.2 Network Connectivity

5. Maintenance and Upgrades

5.1 Storage and Memory Expansion

The UM560 XT offers flexible options for storage and memory upgrades:

• RAM: Comes pre-installed with 16GB DDR4 RAM (dual-channel). Each of the two SODIMM slots supports up to 32GB, allowing for a maximum capacity of 64GB.
• SSD: Includes a 512GB M.2 2280 PCIe SSD, which can be expanded up to 2TB.
• HDD: Features an additional 2.5-inch SATA HDD slot, supporting drives up to 7mm thick. A SATA cable is included for easy installation.

5.2 Efficient Heat Dissipation

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Common Issues and Solutions

• No Display: Ensure all display cables (HDMI, USB-C) are securely connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor. Verify the monitor input source is correctly selected. Try a different cable or monitor if possible.
• No Power: Check that the power adapter is firmly connected to the Mini PC and the power outlet. Ensure the power outlet is functional.
• System Unresponsive: If the system becomes unresponsive, press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds to force a shutdown, then restart the device.
• Clear CMOS: If you encounter boot issues or incorrect BIOS settings, locate the 'Clear CMOS' button (often a small pinhole) on the front or side of the Mini PC. Use a paperclip to press and hold it for a few seconds while the device is off and unplugged, then reconnect power and try booting again.
• Network Connectivity Issues: For wired connections, check the Ethernet cable and router status. For Wi-Fi, ensure the Wi-Fi adapter is enabled in the operating system and you are connected to the correct network with the correct password.
