Safety Information

- Always ensure the wheelchair is fully unfolded and locked into place before use.
- Engage the manual brakes when transferring in or out of the wheelchair.

- Avoid operating the wheelchair on excessively steep inclines or declines beyond 12 degrees.

Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to set up your electric wheelchair for first use.
- Unfolding the Wheelchair:
Carefully lift the wheelchair from its folded position. Pull the handles upwards and press the seat cushion down until the frame locks into place. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged.

- Attaching the Joystick Controller:
Locate the mounting bracket on either the left or right armrest. Slide the joystick controller onto the bracket and secure it with the provided screw/knob. Ensure the controller is firmly attached and does not wobble.

- Connecting Power Cables:
Connect the main power cable from the battery to the controller. Ensure all electrical connections are secure and properly seated. Refer to the diagram for correct wiring if needed. Note: If the wheelchair operates in the opposite direction, check and correct the left and right motor wire connections.

- Installing Anti-Flip Wheels:
Attach the anti-flip wheels to the designated pins at the rear of the wheelchair frame. These provide additional stability and prevent tipping backward, especially on inclines.

Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the controls before operating the wheelchair.
- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the joystick controller to turn the wheelchair on or off.
- 360° Joystick Control: Use the joystick to navigate. Push forward to move forward, pull back to move backward, and move left or right to steer. The sensitive joystick allows for precise movement and instant braking when released.

- Speed Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the joystick to increase or decrease the speed. The speed indicator lights will show the current speed setting.
- Horn and SOS Button: Press the horn button for an audible alert. The SOS button can be used in emergencies to emit a distress signal.
- Manual Push Mode: To push the wheelchair manually without power, ensure the handbrake is in the down position and pull out the clutches on both sides of the wheelchair. This disengages the motors, allowing for manual propulsion.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your wheelchair.
- Battery Care: Charge the 12AH lead-acid battery fully after each use. Avoid completely draining the battery. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the frame and seat with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive water directly on electrical components.
- Storage: When not in use, store the wheelchair in a dry, cool place. The foldable design allows for compact storage.

- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they are tight. Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation.
