4. Setup and Installation
The VUKARUAL Carplay Screen is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps for a quick setup:
- Choose Mounting Location: Select a suitable flat surface on your dashboard that does not obstruct your view or interfere with airbag deployment.
- Attach Monitor Base: Securely attach one of the provided monitor bases to the chosen location using the adhesive pad. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
- Mount Carplay Screen: Slide the Carplay screen onto the monitor base until it clicks into place. Adjust the angle for optimal viewing.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the Carplay screen and then into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
- Backup Camera Installation (Optional):
- Mount the backup camera at the rear of your vehicle, typically near the license plate.
- Route the camera connection line from the camera to the Carplay screen.
- Connect the camera's power wire to your vehicle's reverse light power source for automatic activation when reversing.
- Audio Connection:
- FM Transmitter: Tune your car's FM radio to an unused frequency, then set the Carplay screen's FM transmitter to the same frequency.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- The device will automatically power on when connected to your vehicle's power outlet and the ignition is turned on.
- To power off, disconnect the power cord or turn off your vehicle's ignition.
5.2 Connecting to Carplay / Android Auto
- Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled.
- On the Carplay screen, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Search for available devices on your smartphone and select "CarKit-1EAA" (or similar name displayed on the screen).
- Confirm the pairing request on both devices.
- Once paired, the Carplay screen will automatically launch Apple Carplay or Android Auto.

- Once connected to Carplay or Android Auto, activate voice control (Siri or Google Assistant) by pressing the voice command button on your steering wheel (if available) or by saying the wake word ("Hey Siri" or "Hey Google").

5.4 Mirror Link
- The Mirror Link feature allows you to cast your smartphone screen to the Carplay display. This is useful for apps not natively supported by Carplay/Android Auto, such as video streaming services.
- Refer to your smartphone's specific instructions for screen mirroring setup (e.g., Smart View for Android, Screen Mirroring for iOS).
5.5 Backup Camera Operation
- If the backup camera is correctly installed and wired, the Carplay screen will automatically switch to the camera view when your vehicle is put into reverse gear.

6. Maintenance
