4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery

4.2 Inserting the SD Card

- Push the card gently until it clicks into place. To remove, push again until it springs out.
4.3 Attaching the Wrist Strap
- Thread the thin loop of the wrist strap through the strap eyelet on the camera body.
- Pass the larger end of the strap through the loop you just created and pull tight to secure.
5. Operating the Camera
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power Button located on the top of the camera to turn it on or off.
5.2 Taking Photos
- Ensure the camera is in photo mode (indicated by an icon on the LCD screen). If not, use the OK/Mode Switch Button to cycle through modes.
- Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
- Press the Shutter Button halfway down to activate autofocus. A green box will appear when focus is achieved.
- Press the Shutter Button fully to capture the photo.

5.3 Recording Videos
- Switch to video recording mode using the OK/Mode Switch Button.
- Press the Shutter Button to start recording. A timer will appear on the screen.
- Press the Shutter Button again to stop recording.

5.4 Using Digital Zoom
While in photo or video mode, use the W/T Buttons to zoom in (T) or zoom out (W) digitally up to 16X.

5.5 Flash Settings
Press the Right Navigation Button (often marked with a lightning bolt icon) to cycle through flash modes: Auto Flash, Flash Off, and Flash On (Fill Light).

5.6 Playback Mode
To view captured photos and videos, press the Up Navigation Button (often marked with a play icon) to enter playback mode. Use the navigation buttons to browse through your media.

- Self-Timer: Access through the menu (M Button) to set a delay (e.g., 3s, 5s, 10s, 20s) before a photo is taken.

- Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable.
- Turn on the camera. It should prompt you to select a USB mode.
- Select "Mass Storage" or "USB Mode" to allow your computer to recognize the camera as an external drive.
