Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Pyukix Pizza Oven.
- Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the stainless steel finish.
- Pizza Stone: The pizza stone is porous and should not be washed with soap or immersed in water. Scrape off any baked-on food residue with a plastic scraper or stiff brush. For stubborn stains, you can gently scrub with a dry brush. Over time, the stone will naturally darken, which is normal and does not affect performance.
- Interior: Wipe the interior surfaces with a damp cloth. For stubborn grease or food particles, a mild detergent can be used, but ensure to wipe thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth afterwards to remove any soap residue.
- Crumb Tray: The removable crumb tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly. Slide it out, discard crumbs, and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
