Important Safety Instructions

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the dehydrator. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the dehydrating trays and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main base unit can be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
- Placement: Place the dehydrator on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit, at least 6 inches (15 cm) of space on all sides. Do not place it near heat sources or flammable materials.
- Assembly: Stack the clean, dry dehydrating trays onto the main base unit. Ensure they are properly aligned. Place the lid on the top tray.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
Preparing Food for Dehydration:
- Wash and thoroughly clean all food items.
- Slice food into uniform thickness for even drying. Generally, 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) to 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) is ideal.
- Arrange food in a single layer on the dehydrating trays, ensuring there is space between pieces for proper air circulation. Do not overlap food.

Using the Digital Control Panel:

- Power On: Press the Power button (usually marked with a circle and vertical line).
- Set Temperature: Press the Temp button. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the temperature between 95°F (35°C) and 167°F (75°C). The display will show the set temperature.
- Set Time: Press the Time button. Use the + and - buttons to set the dehydration time from 1 to 48 hours. The display will show the remaining time.
- Start Dehydration: Once temperature and time are set, the dehydrator will automatically begin operation after a few seconds. The fan and heating element will activate.
- Monitoring: Periodically check the food for desired dryness. Drying times vary based on food type, thickness, and moisture content.
- Completion: The dehydrator will automatically shut off once the set time has elapsed. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Reemix Food Dehydrator.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the dehydrator from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Trays and Lid: The dehydrating trays and lid are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing or reassembling.
- Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main base unit with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Never immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing. Store the assembled dehydrator in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
