5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Pyukix Vacuum Sealer.

  • Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the machine in water or any other liquid.
  • Cleaning the Vacuum Chamber: After each use, especially when sealing moist foods, clean the vacuum chamber to prevent residue buildup. Use a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then dry thoroughly.
  • Cleaning the Sealing Strip: Ensure the sealing strip is clean and free of food particles. A dirty sealing strip can lead to incomplete seals.
  • Removable Silicone Gasket: The silicone gasket is removable and washable. Gently remove it for thorough cleaning with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry completely before reinserting. This helps maintain a strong vacuum seal and prevents bacterial growth.
