1. Product Overview

The Alloyman 4x360° Self Leveling Green Line Laser Level (Model JGY-002) is a precision tool designed for various leveling and alignment tasks in construction, renovation, and DIY projects. 3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Laser Level Batteries: Insert the two 4.0V Li-ion batteries into the designated battery compartments on the laser level unit. Ensure correct polarity.
  2. Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert the two AAA batteries.
  3. Charging: Connect the Type-C charger to the laser level unit and a power source to charge the Li-ion batteries. The battery indicator on the unit will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 12 hours of continuous operation.

3.2 Tripod Assembly and Adjustment

  1. Unfold the tripod legs and extend them to the desired height. Use the adjustment buckles on each leg to secure them.
  2. Adjust the neck extension locking mechanism to fine-tune the height.
  3. The rotary rocker allows for precise horizontal and vertical adjustments of the mounted laser level.
  4. Ensure the non-skid rubber feet are firmly placed on the surface for stability.

3.3 Mounting the Laser Level

  • On Tripod: The laser level features a 1/4"-20 thread compatible with most tripods. Securely screw the laser level onto the tripod head.
  • Magnetic Mount: Attach the 360° magnetic swivel stand to the back of the laser level. This allows the unit to be fixed to metal surfaces or to planks/walls using an iron sheet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Slide the ON/OFF switch located on the side of the unit to power on or power off the laser level.

4.2 Self-Leveling Mode

  • When the unit is powered on and the pendulum is unlocked, the laser level will automatically enter self-leveling mode.
  • The unit will self-level within a range of ±3°.
  • If the surface tilt exceeds 3°, the laser lines will flash and the unit will emit a beeping sound to indicate it is out of level. Adjust the position of the laser level until it is within the self-leveling range.

4.3 Manual Mode

  • To activate manual mode, long-press the mode switch button (M) on the unit or the remote control.
  • In manual mode, the self-leveling function is deactivated, allowing the laser lines to be projected at any desired angle. This is useful for tasks like installing handrails on stairs.

4.4 Switching Laser Lines

The laser level features four 360° laser lines (two horizontal, two vertical). Use the 'V' (Vertical) and 'H' (Horizontal) buttons on the unit or remote control to cycle through different line combinations:

  • Press 'V' to activate/deactivate vertical lines.
  • Press 'H' to activate/deactivate horizontal lines.
  • Various combinations are possible, including H+H (two horizontal), V+V (two vertical), V+V+H (two vertical and one horizontal), and V+V+H+H (all four lines).

4.5 Remote Control Operation and Extended Working Range

The included remote control allows for convenient operation of the laser level from a distance. This is particularly useful when working in large areas or when the unit is mounted in an inaccessible location. The laser level has an extended working range diameter of up to 150 feet.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the laser level and its components with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the laser apertures clean to ensure clear projection.
  • Battery Care: Charge the Li-ion batteries fully before long-term storage. If storing for extended periods, recharge them every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
  • Storage: Store the laser level and accessories in a dry, dust-free environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Calibration: While the unit is self-leveling, periodic checks against known level surfaces are recommended for critical applications to ensure continued accuracy.

6. Troubleshooting
