Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the mixer and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the provided power cable to the AC INPUT jack on the rear of the mixer and then to a suitable power outlet (110V AC). Ensure the POWER switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
  3. Input Connections:
    • Microphones/Instruments: Connect microphones via XLR cables or line-level instruments via 1/4" TRS cables to the respective MIC/LINE inputs on each channel.
    • Phantom Power: For condenser microphones requiring 48V phantom power, ensure the microphone is connected first, then activate the +48V PHANTOM switch. Deactivate before disconnecting.
    • USB Device: Insert a USB drive into the USB Type A port for audio playback.
    • PC Connection: Connect a PC to the USB 2.0 Type B port for audio playback and recording.

Operating Instructions

Channel Control

  • GAIN Control: Adjust the red GAIN knob at the top of each channel to set the input sensitivity. Use the -20dB PAD switch for very hot signals to prevent clipping.
  • Equalizer (EQ): Each channel features a 3-band EQ (HF, MF, LF) to shape the tone of the input signal. Turn knobs clockwise to boost frequencies and counter-clockwise to cut.
  • AUX/FX Control: Use the blue AUX/FX knobs to send a portion of the channel's signal to external effects or monitor mixes.
  • PAN/BAL Control: Adjust the PAN/BAL knob to position the channel's signal within the stereo field (left to right).
  • ON Switch: Activates or deactivates the channel.
  • Channel Faders: Control the overall volume level of each individual channel.
  • MAIN Switch: Routes the channel's audio directly to the main output.
  • PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) Switch: Allows monitoring of the channel's signal through headphones before it reaches the main mix, useful for gain staging.

Master Section & Effects

  • 7-Band Stereo Graphic Equalizer: Located centrally, this EQ allows for fine-tuning the overall frequency response of the main output. Adjust sliders to boost or cut specific frequency bands.
  • Dual 99DSP Effects: Use the [PROGRAM] knob to select from 99 built-in digital effects. The display screen shows the selected effect number. Adjust the FX knob to control the wet/dry mix of the effect. DLY (Delay) and REP (Repeat) knobs provide further control over delay effects.
  • MP3 Player Function: The central MP3 section allows playback from USB drives or Bluetooth. Use the navigation buttons (play/pause, skip) and MP3 LEVEL knob to control playback.
  • Headphones Control: The PHONES Control knob adjusts the volume for headphone monitoring.

Maintenance
