5. Setup Instructions

3. Connect Console Peripherals:
   • Connect your USB keyboard and mouse to the dedicated USB 3.0 ports on the front panel of the KVM switch.

6. Operating Instructions

Switching Between Computers:

The D3LX0Z1 CAMGEET 1001 KVM Switch offers three methods for switching between connected computers:

• Front Panel Buttons: Press the corresponding numbered button (1-10) on the front panel to switch to the desired computer. The LED indicator for the active PC will illuminate.
• Wired Remote Control: Use the buttons on the wired remote control to switch between computers. Each button corresponds to a specific PC input.
• Hotkey Commands: Use keyboard hotkeys for quick switching.
  • Press [Scroll Lock] + [Scroll Lock] + [1-10] to switch to PC 1-10.
  • Press [Scroll Lock] + [Scroll Lock] + [Up/Down Arrow] to cycle through PCs sequentially.
  • Press [Scroll Lock] + [Scroll Lock] + [S] to initiate auto-scan mode (cycles through all active PCs). Press any key to exit auto-scan.
  • Press [Scroll Lock] + [Scroll Lock] + [F11] to enable/disable audio switching.
  • Press [Scroll Lock] + [Scroll Lock] + [F12] to enable/disable USB 3.0 hub switching.

  Note: The default hotkey is Scroll Lock. If Scroll Lock is used by other applications, you can change the hotkey by pressing [Left Ctrl] + [Left Ctrl] + [K] to switch to Left Ctrl as the hotkey, or [Right Ctrl] + [Right Ctrl] + [K] to switch to Right Ctrl.

EDID Simulation:

The KVM switch features EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) simulation, which ensures that the connected computers always detect a display, even when not actively selected. This prevents display resolution and icon rearrangement issues when switching between PCs.

USB 3.0 Peripheral Sharing:

The four USB 3.0 ports on the front panel allow you to share USB peripherals like printers, scanners, or USB drives among all connected computers. When you switch to a different PC, the shared USB devices will automatically switch to that PC.

Audio Switching:

The KVM switch supports independent audio switching. When you switch between computers, the audio output (speakers) and input (microphone) will also switch to the selected PC. This can be enabled or disabled via hotkey commands.
