Setup Guide
1. Initial Connection
- Connect to Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect one of the HDMI 2.0 ports on the Mini PC to your monitor or TV. The device supports dual 4K@60Hz displays.
- Connect Peripherals: Connect your USB keyboard and mouse to the available USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports.
- Connect to Network: For wired internet, connect an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit Ethernet port. For wireless internet, ensure your WiFi network is available (WiFi 6 supported).
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC jack on the Mini PC, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.

2. Power On
Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC. The power indicator light will illuminate.
3. Operating System Setup (Ubuntu Linux)
Your SOAYAN MN-N1 Mini PC comes pre-installed with Ubuntu Linux. Upon first boot, the system will guide you through the initial setup process, which typically includes:
- Language selection
- Keyboard layout selection
- Time zone configuration
- User account creation (username and password)
- Network connection setup (if not already connected via Ethernet)
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup. Once finished, your Mini PC will be ready for use.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Usage
The Ubuntu desktop environment is intuitive. You can launch applications from the 'Show Applications' grid, manage files using the file manager, and browse the web using the pre-installed browser.

2. Connectivity
- WiFi 6: For high-speed wireless connectivity, ensure your router supports WiFi 6. Connect via the network settings in Ubuntu.
- Bluetooth 5.2: Pair Bluetooth devices like keyboards, mice, or headphones through the Bluetooth settings.
- Gigabit Ethernet: Provides a stable and fast wired network connection.

3. Display Configuration
To configure dual displays or adjust resolution, navigate to Settings > Displays in Ubuntu. You can arrange displays, set resolutions, and choose primary monitors.
4. Storage Expansion
The Mini PC includes a 512GB M.2 2280 SATA III SSD. For additional storage, you can:
- Replace the existing M.2 SSD with a larger capacity (up to 2TB, not included).
- Add a 2.5-inch 7mm HDD/SSD (up to 2TB, not included) using the pre-installed SATA cable and slot on the bottom cover.

5. Cooling System
The Mini PC features an ultra-quiet fan and an efficient heat sink designed to maintain optimal operating temperatures and prevent overheating during prolonged use or multitasking.

6. BIOS and Boot Options
To access the BIOS setup, press the Delete key during startup. To enter the boot options menu, press the F7 key during startup. These options allow for advanced system configuration and boot device selection.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the Mini PC. Avoid liquid cleaners. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and obstructions.
- Software Updates: Regularly check for and install system updates through the Ubuntu Software Updater to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to the latest features.
