4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the device.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Initial Power On

To power on the device, slide the pendulum lock to the 'ON' position. The laser level will emit green cross lines and automatically enter self-leveling mode.

5. Operating Modes

5.1 Self-Leveling Mode

When the pendulum lock is in the 'ON' position, the device automatically self-levels. If the tilt angle exceeds ±3°, the laser lines will flash and an audible alarm will sound, indicating that the device is out of its self-leveling range. Adjust the device's position until the laser lines are stable and the alarm stops.

5.2 Manual Mode

To activate Manual Mode, slide the pendulum lock to the 'OFF' position. Then, press and hold the top button for 3 seconds. In Manual Mode, the laser lines can be projected at any angle, which is useful for tasks like stair laying or custom angle projections. The self-leveling function is disabled in this mode.

5.3 Pulse Mode

Pulse Mode extends the working range of the laser level, especially when used with a compatible laser receiver (not included). To activate Pulse Mode, ensure the device is in Self-Leveling Mode, then short-press the top button. The laser lines will pulse, allowing for detection by a receiver over longer distances, up to 164 feet.
