5. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and effective operation of the circuit breaker. Ensure all power is disconnected before proceeding.

5.1 Din Rail Mounting

  1. Ensure the Din Rail is securely mounted within an appropriate enclosure.
  2. Align the circuit breaker's mounting clip with the Din Rail.
  3. Press the circuit breaker firmly onto the Din Rail until it clicks into place.
  4. Verify that the circuit breaker is securely fastened and does not wobble.

5.2 Wiring Connections

  1. Identify the input (source) and output (load) terminals. The terminals are typically marked or indicated by diagrams on the device.
  2. Connect the DC positive (+) lead from your solar array or source to the designated positive input terminal.
  3. Connect the DC negative (-) lead from your solar array or source to the designated negative input terminal.
  4. Connect the DC positive (+) lead to your inverter, charge controller, or battery bank from the designated positive output terminal.
  5. Connect the DC negative (-) lead to your inverter, charge controller, or battery bank from the designated negative output terminal.
  6. Ensure all wire connections are tight and secure using a suitable screwdriver. Recommended torque specifications should be followed if provided on the device or packaging.
  7. Verify correct polarity for all connections to prevent damage to your PV system components.
